Ok im done with my first homemade and it looks like crap but that was expected. I have sealed all the tubing
with plumbers goop, hotglue, and window coax (sp?) because the seal keeps breaking :P . So this morning i pumped it once and shot it it probably only would have gotten 30 ft. Then i decided to pump it twice and the evil *hisssss* came back.

Can anyone try to help fix this ungodly problem.

Well, if it's an air pressure homemade, you should only need PVC cement. Hot glue just doesn't make a seal. Also, how long did you let the cement set for? It usually takes about 24 hours before the seal is final....if you add pressure before that, it can fail.

If the one you have won't work after you put in PVC cement, try the air tank on Cxwq's BAMF. It's in the homemades thing. It's a good tank, and a good gun if you decide to make the entire thing.
I made one last summer, but the thing is that it's way to powerful to use in a nerf war without killing anyone, so I just keep it for novelty.

Please try to follow our Code of Conduct.

If you need to locate the leak, well after everything is sealed, put the gun under water and pump it up.

If you are using some sort of nylon connector or trying to attach a hose to airtech internals, I'd suggest hot gluing the tube on, and then tightening the seal with a few zip ties. These work amazingly well and act like pipe clamps. Are you using airtech internals for your tank?
