Nice find. It's almost worth it for the shell to integrate stuff into and the turret, if not used with the integration, for another gun. That's what I did with my turret. I put couplers over each barrel and use it with my NF. I get regular ranges.

Nice find, but the Firefly sucks even after moding, so you would be better off with a NF

It's not that bad of a gun--I think. It makes a good gun to loan out to people. It's simple and easy to use.

I don't think a gun's name has anything to do with its performance. I think the Firefly has much better performance than a Maverick --which everybody thinks is so awesome, anyways (properly modded of course).

I agree with Frost, I think the firefly is underated. Mine gets about 50 feet with CPVC barrels. There's certainly better guns for $20, but the firefly is a decent gun overall. MUCH better than the Maverick.

On topic, My maveric works better than my firefly just by a little though. I shoot more with my maveric, which sucks because you run out super fast. I think they should have a baby.

I might have 3 or 4 NIB fireflys for sale. Not sure of what era they are. Might be the newest. I don't really know for sure. Friend is giving them to me.

The handle makes a GREAT and SUPER COMFORTABLE foregrip that fits perfectly on a big blast...
I got 2 for free through a friend who knows somebody who knows somebody at Hasbro or something, and so I sacrificed one of my 3 for a handle on a 2k turreted big blast. Add a rail from a Longshot, and you've got a gun that was well worth hacking away at the firefly for.
Translation: not a big fan of the FF. Still got another one (first editon) NIB if someone wants it. It's either that, or it'll end up destined to become another foregrip.

So, I received 4 free FFs from a friend of mine, a stock Hornet As-6 or whatever, 2 green NF ex-3s, and a stock at3k. I plan to try and mod one of the FFs again. Might throw some internals in it and make a better seal with the turret. I plan to sell the other 3 off as well. One is almost sold, pening me getting out and checking the shipping. So I have 2 perfectly stock FFs left.
After I got a hold of one again, I saw how comfortable it was to hold and fire. I'm in love with it again. I just wish they would have used their time better to make a better seal and more mod-worthy gun. I think I will try brass barrels this time with a SLIGHTLY smaller diameter than CPVC in the turret. Should be lighter as well.
