First off I take no credit for this mod. My brother came up with it.

This is a really simple mod for the Big Blast or the Blast bazooka, since there are pretty much the same gun.
Tools needed:
Hack saw/Dremel
Screw driver( optional )
Masking tape ( optional )
Drill (optional )

Ok here we have are Big BlastPosted Image
It is up to you at this point too open the gun up if you want too, you don't have too for this mod. See this orange thing on the barrel?

This is where you take your Hack saw or Dremel and cut either the orange head off and drill the remaining orange that is left down too a thin layer or just drill it all out, it is up too you. Or you can just saw all the orange thing off but be careful not too cut too far down cause there are too holes on the side of the gun. If you want to just cut the
holes off then you have too open up the gun. Ok now that the orange cap is cut off it should look like this:

I left some of the orange cap on mine but you don't have too. If you didn't cut off the original side holes then you have too put some masking(or any tape you have, I just like masking tape) on the hole's and it should look like this when the tape is on:

Ok now your done! Now you have your self a nice weapon with good ranges.

Ranges are about 65-70 feet leveled at my shoulder and about 100 feet with an angled shot.
I'll post a video up later with some ranges on it.

I know that this isn't the best mod out there for this gun but its ok.

I just noticed that I spelled "simple" wrong in the title. Could fix it for me, please.

This is the simplest mod I have every seen. With almost no work involved, I can see this one will be popular (insert cynisism here).

Nice job.

Discretion is the better part of valor, thats why I carry a very big axe.

You can fool some people all of the time and everyone some of the time, but you cant fool all the people all of the time, but it sure is fun trying.

What have I got in my pocket? (tolkien)

What does this shoot now? Are those ranges with a micro dart?
It's a nice, easy mod for anyone that wants to spend maybe 5 minutes modding their gun. Also, if this still shoots the stock ammo, would wrapping the barrel piece in more tape increase ranges? Wrapping it in tape would increase the amount of force required to shoot the missile off, so the ranges might go up. I'd expirement with that to see if you can get greater ranges. Though that's all assuming it still uses stock ammo.

Good work.

This mod still uses stock darts and the big missile's that comes with it. The only bad part about this is that it can't fire stefans at all. They start too cock eye in the air and maybe go like 10' out of the barrel. I don't know if wrapping it with more tape would increase range or not.

To fix simple just go to the first post with the writeup and do full edit and change the error.

Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

I got the video's up.
This one is the angle shot using a modded tagger dart.
Angle shot
This one is level shot with my shoulder, again using the modded tagger dart.
Shoulder shot

Where I stop in the video's is where the darts landed.
Also with both test ranges I used 5 pumps.

I don't even think this takes 5 minutes.. just take a pair of pliers and rip it out... takes about 30 seconds.

Pliers don't take out the orange thing, I tried. The plier's just warp the plastic, that's why you have too cut it off.

I have done the same thing. also what kind of ammo. I mean like cdt's or what. why only pump 5 times. I pump mine probably 8 to 10. But it shoots stefans horribly.

The barrel is very loose. It works great with darts like streamlines, homemade streamlines or cdt's. But the stefans fall in and just usually fall out of the barrel.

When I first got my Big Blast, I did something similar to this mod. I was firing stock tagger darts, and since the head was too big to fit and the body was too slender, I rolled up a piece of heavy paper inside the barrel with a bit sticking out and secured it with e-tape. It made a real nice fit.
