:( Okay well i'm not going to say that this is all new material, because some of it may very well not be.

STEP 1:
Okay. For this you need to go to your local Home Depot. Their, you should be able to get industrial springs for about 3$. You should get two in one pack, if not, then mine were a special deal. Okay now you should open your gun all the way, including the plunger parts. If it's possible, get two o-rings onto the plunger head. And instead of using the plastic head, put on a metal washer. Put on one of the industrial springs, and put the plunger together. Getting the plunger together now is kinda hard because of the spring, but it can be done.

STEP 2:
Alright, keep your gun apart, except for the plunger. For this, part, start by drilling out the restrictors, and the peg. Now, cut a 4 inch piece of brass. Make sure your brass is tight enough around a stefen, so that you have to blow it down the barrel. This maximizes the pressure in the gun. Now, hot glue the barrel onto the top of the plunger casing. Wrap it in duct tape, e-tape, or whatever, just to keep it on. No, close up the gun, and make sure the gun can cock. It may be hard tp pull back at first, but you get used to it.

Now, here's the best part.....65-70 ft. (average 67.5) No lie! All flat shots, no angled. I think angled shots are dumb because your not going to be shooting someone with an angled shot.

But ya, that's my mod. Sorry about having no pics, but i think the words helped somewhat. B)

Pretty good for no pics, but you should try to put them in, it would make it alot better.

If they are saved on your computer, create an account at Photobucket. It has free image hosting. Then, upload the pictures to your Photobucket account (should be simple to figure out when you see the form), and copy and paste the URL tag for the newly uploaded picture into your post. (Hit the button that looks like a tree, then paste the URL into the scripted window that pops up. Make sure you delete what was originally in the box first.)

I really like this write-up. It's easy to understand without pictures. One question, what's a metal washer?

Nice mod. You did do very well without pictures, I must say.

I think angled shots are dumb because your not going to be shooting someone with an angled shot.

They're not all that bad. A friend of fine arched a Nitefinder shot and hit OMC from about 60-65 feet away. Its not all that bad of an idea. I mean, if you fire a couple of flat shots and they don't reach, make an arched estimate and do trial and error until you hit.

This is actually really clear, even without the pictures. Though that might be because almost everyone who posted here has seen the internals of a Nitefinder numerous times.
Still get pictures in here just incase anynody reading it gets lost (most likely a guest who can't reply or ask questions).

Also, for that Handyman spring, while I have not had any problems with it, many people have reported their guns breaking from the spring. Not just the plunger head, but the shell and the tabs that hold the screws keeping the plunger tube in. So I'd suggest reinforcing those as well.

Level shots are much more commonly used in wars, so they are used to measure ranges. I agree that angled shots are still used in wars, I have gotten hits with them multiple times.

Thats what happened to mine. The tabs just broke of cleanly.

Yes, definitely reinforce it. My Nite Finder, before I took it apart again, had a Crossfire spring plus the stock spring. After six shots, I banded it. I gave it to my friend to cock it, and he pulled back. The screw that holds the plunger head on actually stripped its own ridges off. So, if you're using a STRONGER spring than what I did, reinforce or it will destroy itself.

Or you could just go to www.picoodle.com, and do not even have to have an account, it is pretty much the same, that is what i use.

Zoob, that was uncalled for. First off, he said that it wasn't original, so you can't whale on him for that.
Secondly, it's incredibly clear, even without pictures.
Lastly, my nite-finder with a stock spring and cpvc barrel gets 77-80 feet flat. I band it, but that's still not as strong as an industrial spring.

Rockr, ignore Zoob's 'useless, gayass post,' and good job.

Edit: Also, aren't sexual references (It's not even a reference) generally looked down upon here?
