But, I am going to post here, to see if there is anybody here.

The southeast is a freakin nerf desert.

That needs to be changed.

I nerf with my friends, and 3 of them actually own guns and started nerfing way before me. Think Nerf Online days. Except 2 of those aren't very dependable people any more.

Anyways, I am tired of being left out of the East coast nerf because I live in the South East.

I'm probably speaking to an empty audience, but maybe someone will reply.

There are plenty, they just don't post about it nor do they stay active within any of the online forums. Nerf events in the south seem to be impromptu events, because the culture is one of actually going to your neighbor or your friends house in order to organize something.
There have been several wars in Florida that the attendees posted about.

The vast majority of the content I've seen posted about Southern Nerf is after-the-fact accounts rather than proposals for future events.

My Brother and I are in the Carolinas, and I've got a good sized clan at my college if you want to do something during the school year. Privateer is a member of my clan too. As is NerfSemi, but never posts as far as I know.

A while back I posted a thread proposing a Florida nerf war but nothing came out of it.

I live in Gainesville, FL and I would be more than interested in a southeast nerf war! I know that there were some events taking place in Sarasota, FL but im not sure if they are still happening. That's farther south though.

I've wanted to attend a war for a long time and the southeast could use a good one! If I can help in any aspect of war planning just PM me about it.

I'm free almost every weekend in the fall except the weekend of September 8th and the weekend of October 6th. I live in Clinton SC 29325 and my clan would be happy to host a war at some point this fall. We'd also be willing to travel somewhere relatively close if someone else decided to host. For instance, there's someone on NHQ in Augusta Georgia.

I don't believe that October would be a very good time, because many nerfers are still in middle to high school, and therefore could not attend. My parents are rather strict when it comes to doing anything during the school year. I have links to Auburn, Alabama, Columbus, Georgia, and probably other places, so anything around those I would definately try to attend. On A related note, has anyone on here ever attended Service Over Self, or SOS in Memohis, TN? I go each year, and although it has passed for this year and I have already attended, next year could prove different.

I used to live in Collierville, TN which is just outside of Memphis. It's nice!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Memphis may be a little far north to be the site of a Southeast Nerf war. I have connections in Mobile, AL and in Tuscaloosa as well as Tallahassee, FL.

I just read the NHQ thread and I'm thinking Augusta, GA could be a nice, central southeast location! I google mapped it, and it's not terribly far from the clan in Anniston or the guys in SC for that matter. As for the guy in Mobile, AL he said he has relatives in Columbus, GA which also isnt far from Augusta. As for me I'm willing to make the drive but it would be farther for the guy in Tallahassee.

The location seems like it would be accessible to almost everyone who posted in either of the two threads!

What do you guys think of Augusta? Sounds perfect for a war in August maybe?

Yes, that's why I prefer the Haven. I have no idea if my arsenal will be adequate, even if I am able to attend. Was the final location decided on, or is it still up in the air?

We are looking at something in July, and someone was supposed to take pictures of the field they wanted to host it at. However, the HQ is down.

You never know if your arsenal is adequate until you bring it to a war.

It seems like Georgia is the most central location for a Southeastern war. The main suggestion seems to be Augusta Georgia.

Well, my sister is traveling to Auburn, Alabama on July 17th or on one of the surrounding dates, and staying for a bit, so I may or may not be able to get to Augusta, if it is near then. Otherwise, would anyone want to meet up somewhere in Auburn or someplace not too terribly far away? I really want to test out my BBB in battle once I finish modding it. I can probably get my sister and her manfriend to play if anyone wants to.
