You gut the insides... Cut the ends off then empty everything out.

You'll also need to sand down the inside of the marker if there is a rough cut, and widen the marker by hammering a Mag-Light or a brass tube so it fits the darts better.

I don't know about you but I used an old highlighter. Fits well on my AT2K.
