What kind of weights do you guys use? Provide links if you can.

I use these: http://www.cabelas.c...0295&hasJS=true

But I can wondering if because they aren't symmetrical they might not be as accurate? Or is it not enough to matter?

Next time I buy weights should I instead buy the round ones?:

Or some other weight you guys mention?

Thanks

Next time buy the round ones. Look at FA_24's dart making tutorial for more info.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I use tacks at the end of mine. (pointing in of course with hot glue covering it) Is this wrong?

I tried 1/4" slingshot weights, they were too heavy for me, I got much better results with the 3/0 fishing weights. Though if you have a really powerful gun (like the Titan) 1/4" slingshot weights would probably be better.

Tacks are another weight people use. There is nothing wrong with them, as long as you secure them in the dart with hotglue and you make sure it's in the dart straight, so the tip can't come out the side and stab someone.

Tsunami, get the round ones, the little wings on the other ones just make it harder to get your weight straightened out.
And thank you for posting a link to the round ones, I've been looking for them for a while.

1/4" sheet metal screws, like what Boltsniper uses for his SCAR-N. Working on others types still.

I use BBs, but because most of my guns are springers I have no problem. If I take my time on my darts they don't spin out and I get ranges of ~100 with my X-bow.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

You know what... I know it's kinda late... but Props Cole.
