Whenever I get any new guns that come with dtd's I take the tops off and glue 2 airsoft bbs inside the dart and then make a hot glue dome. I also did this on my LS with the streamlines. Is this good or bad for not using FBR?

The shot hit Andy squarely in the forehead. He was, in fact, on my team.

Whether or not somebody uses FBR or modified stock (modified stock, that sure makes a lot of sense) darts isn't bad or good. Its all based on opinion. I use both, but the quality of the foam made by NERF is way better than my FBR, but the FBR is a lot cheaper.

By the way, most nerfers do this to their dtg darts.

EDIT: Dang! Shadowkid beat me to part about the weights. Yes, I completely agree with him. Airsoft BB's are usually to light. I personally prefer copper BB's.

Good for using stock dart foam, BAD BAD BAD for using airsoft BB's. Airsoft bb's don't have enough weight, I'd suggest gettin 3/0 fishing weights, copper bb's, or slingshot ammo as a better weight.

As would I.

As long as you don't get the non-leaded ones, they are perfect for almost all guns, with different powers. As logn as the gun doesn't royally suck (less than 40 feet or so), than use the fishing weights. If they do go less than 40 (which doesn't always mean they suck), use a single copper BB, or a BB sized fishing weight.

Thanks for the help. I just use airsoft bbs because I have like 10k of them that I will probabally(sp)? never use. They kinda seemed too light. I will try to get some slingshot bbs next time I go to Dicks. Also, I haven't tried this so I dont know how it will affect the performance of the gun but does anyone glue the velcro back on to the hot glue dome? It looks like it would be pretty easy.
