So I had this idea while riding on the bus one day.
Allthough I'm sure there's a better gun out there to do this with, let's just pretend we're going to do this with a Longshot, modded with Capt. Slug's Shotgun Foregrip. You attach a grooved rod to the grip, and a design similar to K Barker's Clip design. The diffrence is that this way, with each cycle of the grip, the gear is engaged on the pull backwards (moving the clip up) and disengaged on the push forwards. This way, using some fiddling with the gear ratios, you can cycle the clip upwards with each motion you'd normally do. (Obviously, the LS already uses magazines, but the same idea should be applicable to other guns)

The longshot does not deliver air like that, it is breech, you would have to do it to a nitefinder, or at2k or something like that.

Step 3: Buy a NF.
Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

Good luck with that. I personally try to avoid gears because there are much simpler ways of doing things.
I gave up on my older mechanism due to my own lack of interest, but you might find this interesting.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Nerfer909: I know. Like I said, the LS isn't a great gun for this. It was just the first thing that came to mind when making the diagram.
Prometheus: No, it would move up. Pull back on the bottom, the gear would turn counter-clockwise, making the right side of the gear push up on the clip.

Which way (in the diagram) would you be pulling? it's not clear which side of the picture is the front of the gun.

By the looks of it, the gun is on the right, and the mag is on the left. When the pump is pulled to the right, it'll roll the mag up. You'll need some manner of indexing system for it, though, or you'll never get the barrels to line up. Some manner of spring-loaded arm which pushed into a detent will help greatly.
That being said, like CS said, good luck....minaly because gears are difficult to find in an off-the-shelf item, in the ratios that you'll need.
