Slowly and I mean SLOWLY teaching myself some guitar songs like RUSH and System of a Down. I use to take formal lessons at school until my teacher got into a car accident, then the new teacher thought it wasn't important to keep around.

The real question is, what don't I play.
EDIT #2: Liam, you realize your mouth is a lot looser for the lower saxophones and a lot tighter for the higher saxophones? If you don't have experience with them, you can't just pick them up and play...
That was kinda the meaning to the fact that I can pick it up and play.
And I asume you are talking to me. When was 'Liam' my shotened name?
But I have played almost every sax out but the contra-bass and sopillo. I did flub up about the contra-bass. Forgot about that one. I own a bass sax and have steadily built enough lung up to toot a few notes out. I got it dirt cheap at a musical pawn shop.
As far as the rest go, yeah, I own some and have played every other one out. I guess you can throw the straight version of the sopranino sax as well in with not played. I have played and am trying to sell my curved one now. Our school has a Bass sax that there really aren't many lines for, so I got used to that, and I marched with the Bari-sax last year. Started on Alto... still have it, and don't own one yet, but looking for and have played, a Tenor. So, there is my somewhat deatailed experience with the Saxophone. If you want more, please, just shorten it to a PM.

I'm a Music Composition Major at Point Loma (San Diego). I play trumpet, am getting back on piano quickly, I sing, and am competent with a harmonica. I also play Irish (Uilleann, pronounced Illeann) pipes, as well as the Scottish Tenor Drum and various Orchestral Percussion.

Just cool off a little bit. I'm sure nobody meant to offend you or anything. On the boards here, rarely will someone really be making a jab at you; it's all constructive criticism. Just don't take what people say so literally or seiously, and they won't come off as so harsh. Don't mean to backseat mod, but this is a little nicer than someone ripping into him...

I've been playing the drums for a long time. I mostly enjoy playing faster and harder stuff like Slipknot, Metallica, System of a Down and Tool.

PS. I wouldn't call them mediocre, Lars is in Metallica which automatically makes him awesome(which he is skill-wise anyway) and Joey is fast as hell.

I mainly play tenor sax, though I can play all of em (you know one you know all of em, not much difference...)
I have also played scottish snare, though I'm not gonna keep that up now that I've graduated, and I also played bass drum for a semester (just for the hell of it). Also played piano a while ago, and could still pick it up again if I felt like it.
