I'm wondering if anyone knows of a home made gun I could create using spare parts from a scrapped Maverick and Scout blaster. I do not want to throw them away, nor do I want to have them decay in my already messy room. If there is a design I could work on, what would I need to purchase?

Thank you.

well are you using parts from the gun to make a different gun entirely or are you using those guns as a base to make your new one

I'd like to make an entirely new weapon, that uses some of the parts I have lying around.

How bout not? Any way so if you do that I would actually get into using pvc to make things, like potato guns and stuff, but you don't have to, I am also in the process of building so I also am seeking advice from forumers, Air is easier to use than springs so..... ya

Bobafan's right. It would give you a better reputation if you made the gun yourself, and showed it to us. If you came up with a basic plan, sure we'd help you. We just don't want to build the gun for you.

And Newbie Nerfed, shut the hell up.

Hey the only thing I would think of would be a 2 plunger gun with both plungers going into the same barrel.
See if you can do anything with that.
You would probably have to use some creative cutting of the shells and allot of epoxy but I think its possible.
Plus even trying this is better than having 2 trashed guns laying around like you said.

And guys he was asking for ideas, not for people to tell him to think for himself.

I'd like to make an entirely new weapon, that uses some of the parts I have lying around.

If you can't think of how to do it yourself or what you even want to accomplish then you're up a creek without a paddle.
A gun made primarily from leftover blaster parts is not a homemade, it's a modified integration. A homemade is built from the ground up where-in you had to machine atleast 60% of it in order for it to work.

And guys he was asking for ideas, not for people to tell him to think for himself.

If he doesn't know what he should make then he shouldn't be asking people what he should make.

Make what you think you can accomplish making. Just do something, even if you have to try making someone else's design before you can come up with your own.

We're not here to hand-feed you inspiration. We're here to help you if you get stuck and share our two cents. But you're not asking for two cents, you're asking for the whole dollar.
This is just another lame "what-if" thread where people just throw out random ideas that never really get anywhere because they have no idea how to implement them.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I didn't mean to annoy anyone, I'm just looking for someone to share their ideas with me. I assumed that was the point of this community, sharing information and ideas. Sorry about the mislabeling of "home made" I guess I am looking for an integration.

Could someone direct me to some integration threads?

Anyway I'm tinkering around and I'll see what happens.

Thanks Skitzo for the imput.

There are some integrations in the Nerfhaven Modification Directory over in the Modifications forum.
