I had an idea yesterday, as I was messing around with my BBB. It hasn't got a magazine or a breech-loader, so I have to blow the dart down the barrel to reload. I was toying with the idea of a revolving turret, sort of like the Mav, but then thought that I could use a chain feed and have theoretically unlimited shots before I reload.

My idea was to use the mechanism that turns the turret in the Mav, and attach a gear on the end where the hexagonal piece is. The gear would have four teeth that were relatively long, sort of like a ninja star. The apparatus would be attatched to the cocking mechanism so as to advance the chain every time the BBB was cocked.

The chain would be 2'' pieces of 9/16'' brass (expensive for a long chain, but I don't have a better plan) that ould be attatched side by side by duct tape on the sides of the tube with a gap in the middle. The gear would go through the gap between the chain section just used and the one before it so it could pull the entire chain.

The mod I used on my BBB had a recessed brass barrel, so I could cut a hole big enough for the chain in the sides of the stock barrel, the chain could slide in and fire into the brass aread of it. This is hard to explain, but I haven't done it yet so pics are out of the question. I did manage to borrow a digital camera, so once I try this I'll post pics.

If this works, I could either use a loop chain to act as a big turret or I could use a linear chain which could use more darts. What seems to be the biggest problem is how to move around with all of this. Why don't y'all give me some feedback?

Thats actually not such a bad idea, pretty good, but I think a chain would be a little too complicated, try it with a mav or FF turret. That would be cool!

I think its a great idea. Go for it.

And butleriscool123, I think that hes looking for range too not just the fast fireing part.

The only problem I see is that you would not have a decent airseal. All the air would escape in the space between the shell and the normal brass. You would have to use an automated breech like FA24 or Pissbacon did to seal the shells.

Yeah that would be a problem. Once I get up to ACE, I'll try this out.

For the cain part, You could cut up 6" of whatever barrel your using and space the out 1" each and put duct tape over them. just make sure your cgun has a coupler on it.(If possible). Example: Your using 9/16 brass, then you should use 7/16? i think as a coupler.

If you're looking for a multiple-fire BBB, check out Angel's mod. He integrated a clip into his that uses the firing action to load itself.

It would be a hell of a lot easier if you just threw an AT2K turret on there. What I would do is cut down the stock barrel, add an AT2K turret with little 1.5" nubs of 19/32" brass to act as couplers in the turret, then you can use 4"-6" 9/16" brass barrels inside the 19/32".

It's a little more manual-rotate than desired, but it gets the job done.

You're going to have to get creative with some of the pipe sizes though. There isn't a good, consistent hardware solution for stuff smaller in diameter than 1/2" CPVC.

I'm sure you can transport the idea to the BBB. In all seriousness, though, the clip modded BBB by Forsaken Angel is probably the best bet for maximizing rate of fire on the BBB. It's just that cool.

Yes. Put a AT2K turret on your BBB. To attach it do something similar to this. Then for the barrels on the turret do something like the barrels on this AT3K. It should give you excellent ROF, and good distance too.
