[Nerf Master 101]

Can my longshot shoot stefans without being modified, of does it have the same kind of rod that goes up the center of the stock darts?

Same rod. You'll have to take it out and mod the mags if you want to fit shorter stefans in them.

If you use longer stefens, there is a big risk it will fish tail.

Actually no, the length of Stefan has no bearing on whether or not it will fishtail, as far as I can tell. If anything, the greater friction of the longer stefan would make the dart less likely to fishtail.

They aren't real Stefans but they work in unmodded LS's. You buy tagger darts and take off the heads of them and then put some glue in the hold where the tagger head was then put some sort of weight, I use BBs, then put some glue on the top then wait for them too dry. There your done. They work well in my LS. As far as I can tell they don't lose any range. If you need a picture just ask and I'll put one up.

The answer is: NO

You have to remove the peg and restrictor and even then only 2" length stefans will feed reliably because shorter stefans will move around to much in the magazine.

For a stefan to fire in a unmoded LS, you have to make the longer. i have an unmoded LS and Moded one i make the stefans 3 inches with 3 bb's inside if the fbr. i get 3 feet better range and the gun doesnt jam.
