I forgot if he needed spacers or not, but one of my friends did this by just gluing three magazines together. He had two facing up, and one facing down. So basically, instead of using PVC as a spacer, he used a third magazine facing downwards.

I've been thinking about it too, but wouldn't you need something on the gun itself to keep it in place, like a slot or something?

No. The magazine that is already in the mag well is connected to the other, parallel backup magazine, and while it is held in place within the gun, it will not come loose. Since the two mags are connected, only one needs to be held by the gun for the entire assembly to stay in place.

I did bpso86's mod. It works really good with clear tape, as opposed to duct tape. If you use Scotch Packaging Tape, it's just as strong, and it's totally transparent. I'm going to be using it until I get around to double-clipping.
