Well, you could always desighn a breach using a 6" piece of 1/2". Once I get around to it I might do that. But this mod is based on simplicity.

This can't fire stock micros, can it? I just got my brass and the stock dart's head won't fit inside.

No it won't. I just finished this mod. I don't particularly care about the arrows, but they won't work anyway.

2. I used sch40 pvc what did you use? That might make the diferece.

Try using either thin wire, or screening to stop the dart. It might work better.

I think the rubber band works fine. I think wire could work, but screening would be a step in the wrong direction, it would restrict airflow further.

I'll attest to that. I used peices of the bag on the tagger dart 30 pack refill to do this mod.

I kinda realise that the ruberband is not the perfect solution but it works. I replaced mine with a twist tie, this works well to.

Brass is a fairly fragile material. People put PVC on top of their brass barrels to protect it from denting.

Like Frost said, it keeps the brass from getting damaged, It also stableizes the barrel some what.

Couldn't you go even farther and put a piece of pvc, probably sch i think, around the stock barrel and the added pvc? Then it'll be one barrel and a lot more stabler. Sorry bout posting in such an old topic...
