I use my Longshot or my DTR. Both have a few basic mods, like ARs removed, and the Longshot has a NF spring.

Either Daedalus or my modded, Nitefinder spring and a half added, couplered BBB. Haven't gotten to war test MY Vulcan yet, but I have played a few rounds at a clan war with one, and that was pretty awesome. Also, sometimes I take out my Mav and play a round with that just for laughs.

I don't think anyone has gotten to war test a vulcan yet. Maybe I should set mine up for a round at Talio's war, just for shits and giggles. The blaster pisses me off, but it is still pretty cool I guess. Believe it or not I haven't even range tested it yet come to think of it.

I tried it in a small war last weekend. I guess you could call it a Mini-war, since it was only 2v2. The range is pitiful (especially when you're up against a titan and an AT3K) and the accuracy isn't good enough to hit anyone. It definitely has intimidation factor, and most people I used it on ran from me even though they out-ranged me by a lot.

The main thing that made me switch to another gun was the accuracy. I literally had to spray and pray every time I fired it. I got quite a few hits with it, but compared to how many times I got shot using it, it was nothing.

It took for-fucking-ever to reload the thing after each round. And for as "useful" as it was, it wasn't worth it. You couldn't even put in a new belt quick enough to avoid getting shot in the process.

All of this was with a stock vulcan. I have yet to modify it, and maybe it will become more useful when I do, but stock it just isn't worth it. To be honest, I really enjoyed going rambo with it, but I was getting owned every time.

Now indoors is an entirely different story. This thing is the ultimate indoor weapon. For example, my friend used it in one round, jumped at us out of nowhere and owned us with 5 darts each to the face. The amount of foam this gun can put out is unmatched.

We were doing a war in pitch blackness, and for a little while the vulcan had two recon "lasers" attached to the side rails. It looked like a fucking demon coming out of the darkness, and it performed appropriately.

The verdict: (stock) Vulcans are godly indoors and useless outdoors.

Once more people on the Haven have gotten ahold of one and found successful and effective mods, I will decide how I want to mod my vulcan. Until then, it will remain stock.

I think you're missing my point. Plunger replacement and drum magazine mod.. with on the fly power increase.. I range tested the Vulcan itself quite a bit. Just not the Overhaul. Which is what I'm probably going to call it. Dibs. Fuck anyone who takes it.

I know you range-tested it... I was just responding to your comment about noone war testing a vulcan yet. Even though it was only 2v2, I felt that my experience last weekend was valid.

And my mods will definitely not be as extensive as yours Your vulcan is going to be amazing.

I am not trying to back seat moderate but captain slug is a half admin for now. If you read his full repley you would see that he banned the necroer and told members not to post. Again I am not trying to back seat moderate.

I love shooting the big blasts with the whistling rockets. It's just cool the noise it makes and I love the way the rockets spiral through the air. (even if it isn't too accurate)
