About how much are you holding in the pictures on the spools?
A shit ton.
The shot hit Andy squarely in the forehead. He was, in fact, on my team.

You need a spring with roughly a .080" wire diameter that can fit over a 3/4" rod. Ideal length is around 4-3/4" with upper limit of 4-7/8".
Thanks. *write write write. leaves for ace*

the 69 will work whole, but you will have to re -enforce the trigger plate pretty well.

No, they are too small (even the heavy-guage replacement ones) and too weak. You can use the BBB spring, though. As for the Ace springs, I will have to check on them because I don't have an Ace anywhere near me. I would expect good results, though.I thought you could use a NightFinder spring in the LongShot. Can't you?

I use one of those Handyman Nitefinder spring replacements in my Longshot, it works prefectly fine for what I want. It gets probably around 60'-70', I haven't done any official range tests, I'm just estimating.

Wait, a Handyman Spring in addition to the longshot spring, or simply a Handyman Spring alone?

The spring is to short so it will still work but have a very loud noise.Would I have to do anything to the ace #49 like tempering?
