Strage Long Shot Problems

I am new here, and i guess you can say I brought a problem with me. I must say that this site has been inspiration to me! With out it I would never had gotten into where I am today.
So about one week ago I went out with my birthday money, and bought a brand new, kinda shiny Longshot. I fell in love with it until I shot it, and the dart went about half as far as I had hoped. Not to be brought down, I read up on Longshots and did a basic Mod, thanks to Cartoon. I removed the AR and put a NF spring that I had stretched to be the same length as the Stock spring. I put the NF underneath the stock spring and added an extra O-ring.
I also removed the Bi-pod, and the little thing that tell you if it is cocked, because I found them to just be a hassle. Now I get to the problem.
I load a clip with stock darts, and put it in. I cock it and shoot it, and the first time, It shoots perfectly fine. But if I cock it again there is about a 50/50 chance that the shot will shoot a measly 15 feet or so at most. Now If I take the time to put each dart in by hand into it, The gun will shoot fine. I am assuming that the problem is the dart not loading right when I cock it.
I am kinda stumped, so if I could get some input, that would be nice. I will try to get some photos up soon, I am just away from my home at the moment.
Thanks!
Tim

There is another thread dealing with similar problems here. There is also a labeled picture of the internals there as well.
p.s. Welcome to the boards.

"ah man, I would give you so much for one of those NIB crossbows or one of those crossbows on the floor. The ones on ebay have gone up to $59 and the shipping alone is $12." -Rip32
