Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

Care to elaborate?

What's it made out of? What kind of range does it get? Construction technique? Ammo type? The 'Haven isn't too big on "look what I did" posts....it's more about "look what I did...here's how I did it, the results I got, and pictures documenting the process."

So...fill us in.

I used a 2 valved water hose attachment, a crayola barrel, a water bottle for an air tank, and a 5 dollar bike pump, I put some of a brown paper bag in the pump to keep it in place, and twisted, and taped the rest on, ranges are about 85-90 feet on 2-3 pumps, it is a great first homemade gun, but verry awkward to hold, but good enough.

Where did you get the 5$ bike pump? I have been looking for a cheap pump for a while now.

I mod nerf guns so they look good. So leave my scopes, doodads, and trinkets alone I like them. I don't mind the weight and I started out that way on toy guns and its not going to change.

You could just make a pump from PVC. Chances are, it'll be a lot cheaper and mare fun than buying one.

EDIT: Almost forgot. Nice job with your first homemade.

Does anyone else find those ranges a little fishy?
I could see maybe with a longer barrel and a faster opening valve but I don't think the dart would be in the barrel long enough to get that kind of range.
And it cant be very accurate, can it?
I'm not trying to put you down or anything, I'm just wondering.
Hey its better than my first homemade.

Not really, I mean he pumps it 2-3 times and that pump looks like it can hold quite a lot of air even if the valve is slow your still getting enough to get the dart out of the barrel. For accuracy I doubt it has good to any with a 3 inch barrel.

bad accuracy, good range.

It also has a shut off valve for the pump, it doesnt have to hold any air.

That picture is really small. But it's quite challenging making a first homemade , especially if you were like me and had no idea what the hell you were making. Nice job.

Most likely, all you need to do to avoid blurry pics is use a tripod - or failing that place your camera on a desk or other sturdy surface. You are probably getting blur from the motion of the camera while the picture is being taken. Stabilise it and you will get much clearer pics.

If that isn't the problem, then you need to either focus the camera, or allow time for the auto-focus to work.

By the sound of it, it must have been pretty cheap, effective, and simple. The cheaper , the easier to mass produce, the more simple, the easier to build , the more effective, the more value in actual combat.

I looks like it lacks a barrel , and that is why your gun lacks accuracy.

Try adding a foot long brass barrel. That'll improve accuracy.

Adding a barrel will increase the already good range as well.
