Two Questions

1.What does the title: contributor mean?
2.Are you alowed to use an avatar already in use by another member?
Please forgive me if these sound like stupid questions,
Thanks a lot,

1. Contributor is they contribute to the conversation. 2. I would think so because their are only so many avatars.
Wrong. A custom "Contributor" title means that the member has submitted a lot of useful articles or writeups to the site. Carbon has one because of his several homemade writeups. Boltsniper has one for the same reason and Groove had one before becoming an admin for his DBF strips.
Ok thanks first blood, I would also like to know how to become a contributor also.
See above.

I'm sorry, that was pretty funny. "A" for first-timer's effort, "F" for accuracy.
About avatars; you are free to use whichever avatar you like from NerfHaven's extensive avatar library.
If you use someone else's avy, be warned. You might be mistaken for someone else, much to their chagrin (or much to everyone's confusion).
Why not just pick another one that no one uses? I do that, although we admins have custom avatar priveleges. I just might change my avy soon (something I don't do often).
You also might want to stick to one avatar. Switching avatars often makes people confused...especially old ones like me.

What is part of the Contributor title?
I must say that I have contributed a damn lot to the NIC.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

The members of the contributor group are:
boltsniper
Carbon
Carrtoon
Zero Talent
The criteria as per cx are:
"The "Contributor" title applies to people who are generating content for the site. They have done a bunch of writeups that haven't been posted up yet."
So, I suppose you qualify, but I'm not sure.

Just some food for thought ~ What more will a title offer you when you already have earned the respect and admiration from numerous people within the community for the work you've done?
Who am I kidding. There's no real criteria anymore, we just choose names randomly out of a hat.

P.S. - I began here as a Contributor, and was later promoted to Founder for lending my artistic talents towards the creation of this site.

This forum doesn't say that post count is a sign worthy of respect, the content of the posts it. Having that title would only reinforce the idea that Forsaken Angel's content is what got him there. Younger nerfers would recognize the title as something different and would give him the respect he deserves sooner than if they looked through all his posts.

Groove is a founder, not a contributor.Boltsniper has one for the same reason and Groove had one before becoming an admin for his DBF strips.
Groove already cleared this up, but do you have trouble understanding simple concepts? I said Groove HAD ONE BEFORE becoming an admin. I don't want to sound like a dick, but how stupid can you be?

I don't really undestand why General Cole is making articles of clothing with my name on it. First it frightened me, but after a few hours I got over it. It seems obvious that General Cole is hoping to have sex with me.

Obviously smart enough to bother looking at posting times, NM. Groove clarified AFTER I posted and left the thread. Seeing as how you said admin and not founder, and Groove is (now) a founder and early member number 4, I assumed that you made an error. I am perfectly capable of revisiting and revising my posts in threads without jackasses trying to point out what I overlooked AFTER I left.Groove is a founder, not a contributor.Boltsniper has one for the same reason and Groove had one before becoming an admin for his DBF strips.
