Yes. You generally try to avoid inhaling that.

If you think epoxy smells bad then I gotta say that fishing glue smells 10 times worse and the only thing that smells ten times worse than that would be your mothers breath in the morning.

But in all seriousness Fishin Glue only smells bad if you bring your nose close to it.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

But then your nose would get stuck to the gun, and the gun not working would be the least of your worries.

WOOT! First post, and on a humorous note, although the joke sucks.

Toxic glues of any kind shouldn't smell "nice" as that would promote inhaling the fumes.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

In my experience, the worse the glue smells the stronger it is.

Epoxy smells like popcorn to me. Not a bad smell at all, considering how bad it's probably fucking me up.

Hot glue though, smells like regurgitated hot dogs.

Wait, so the fumes are actually bad for you? As in, toxic?

I thought you were supposed to inhale it, until you see the magical leprechauns and fanciful unicorns. They tell me all their secrets to modding, and the true nature of the universe. Am I the only one that sees them? Really? ...Guys?

Shit.

I feel so betrayed, after all these years...

Must be how Groove comes up with his DBF comics. But the sad truth is that Mc Donald's food will still kill you faster and more easily than epoxy.

Yeah, it also helps if your nuts are made of steel. Or atleast as hard as steel, to ensure that you can shoot far enough.

What, about McDonald's? They use enough trans fats, oil, and cholesterol in their food to kill of the rhinos, grizzly bears, and oxen, but everyone keeps going back to order more. The result is cholesterol blocking your arteries like fat people block my high school hallways.

The reason I don't go to McDonald's is that I don't trust a clown putting "special sauce" on my food

But on the topic of stuff that doesn't smell good, gear oil, or more specifically the friction modifier you add to gear oil for limited slip differentials, that stuff smells like a 50/50 mix of an easters worth of rotten eggs and the puke of people who smell it, all condensed into a bottle no larger than your cell phone.

But again, you're not supposed to sniff them. Especially not anything with methylethylketone (MEK) in it, because that will cause your brain cells to decay and burn away.

Yeah, MEK is nasty stuff. I asked my dad (he used to do neurological research) about it, and he said that the fumes were very toxic. Once I had PVC cement spill in my basement. After cleaning it up, I basically had to sit outside for a few hours to let the fumes dissipate. At least it was nice out, and my dad and I managed to contain the spill fast enough to keep fumes from being a serious problem. But still, watch what you're doing, and don't spill PVC cement!

Plastic cement also contains high levels of MEK, and has the consistency of water. Don't sniff it (it WILL screw you up), and don't let it drip on any plastic surface that you don't intend to bond, because you will never get that shit apart again without breaking it. I used it to hold a shattered Big Blast trigger together, and there isn't even any stress after about 50-75 more shots at a 10-pump tank.
