I have heard different ways to straighten stefans such as putting them in the washer or drying them with a hair dryer or sumthing, but what is the best way to straighten a piece of foam backer rod?

Wow...In all my time reading from these forums, I probobally have heard this question the most.

Heating them with a blow drier, then straighting it and putting it in cold water, it hardens it after you straighten it.

be careful npt to melt them.

You don't put them in the washer. You put them in the dryer. I used that method when I was selling mass quantities of Stefans.

Well then, Webby, why don't you enlighten us with the directions on how to use the dryer forstraightening darts. What settings should it be under? How long should it be in there?

i don't ever straighten mine. of course that depends on the length of your darts. if you have longer darts you'll want to straighten but the guns i use are high powered enough that i can use a dart that's about 2-2.5 inches long and just heavily weight the end with about 5bb's and the dart fires perfectly fine.
