I've posted this problem over at the HQ, but I figured I'd post it here, to see if anyone has had the same problem.

I was painting my RFR a while ago, and somehow broke off the piece holding the catch. The catch pieces that sit on the rear of the plunger are intact, but what they rest on, the long piece of plastic, snapped off in two places, seperating it from the gun. I need a way to securely fasten this on so my RFR will be able to function again.

I'll get pictures up sometime tomorrow.

You could try using plastic cement to bond the pieces back to their original spots. It forms a very strong bond (in plastics), and does not leave globs of leftover adhesive that could interfere with operation. You can pick it up at hobby shops, and sometimes a local hardware retailer.
