You can't copyright a design; the blueprint is copyrighted whether you give notice or not.

That's actually almost IDENTICAL to one of 3DBBQ's guns. His host no longer carries his pictures so I can't prove it, but I owned it until I broke it. It was nearly identical, but it had an interchangeable barrel system.

No, don't be discouraged. I'm not trying to say you copied it. It's a good idea, 3DBBQ is a genius. Go for it man.

Simple is the way to start, work your way up from there. You might want to try a solenoid valve for better ROF, as you won't have to pump as much.

Just so you know, you will have to get a "cap" for the reducing tee. They are called "caps", not "end caps"
Trying anything else will either leak or blow off in your face.

And didn't 3DBBQ have a website with his gun designs on it? I can't seem to find it.

Yeah me and mr.Evil made one like this but it had 2 pressure release handles and it worked great. It was our first ever homemade and if you make it right it can get some pretty good distances. Very simple design and easy to do.

I was never sure as to what 3DBBQ's hosting arangements were, but I know that all of his nerf stuff is either relocated or off the web. Maybe I will send him another email and see what's up.

I would suggest a bigger tank and using 1 inch pipe and a inch valve will allow for faster air. But thats what i think as i did the same and well got some good distances. Now working on a more powerful one. Oh and good choice on integrating the pump into the gun that came as a after thought when i made mine.

Never mind, I found it.

It looks a lot like the boost, but with only 1 valve.

Yeah, it also helps if your nuts are made of steel. Or atleast as hard as steel, to ensure that you can shoot far enough.

Fixed link. Looks like it had a trailing '=' for whatever reason.

It's not foam, it's just the way the art was made. Unless you're referring to the actual dart, then, it's just 3DBBQ's version of a stefan.

The gun I was referring to is not on there. It was called the Blue Streak(if memory serves).
