I've got a Rev-6 Maverick and I did a restrictor removal + nub removal (the barrels come out further to reload faster) but for some reason, the range is to that of a midget hurling a small cow. what else do you think I could do to increase range? (I've got no foam, I want some, but I don't think I have the money) any suggestions or foam filler prices would be awesome.

Swap out the spring for a dart tag one, if you have one.

You mean foam for making stefans? Or padding the internals of the gun? I mean, it's the same stuff, and it's pretty cheap. Check out the trading forum, Forsaken_Angel24 sells it at a good price.

no, like I think it's called "great stuff" it's the stuff that you spray on and it expands and then you can carve off some to make the air space in the barrels smaller, as well as the plunger. I've already tried to do a spring mod, it didn't really work...I kinda messed up and need "o" rings or something to reenforce the metal bar, it snapped a little

That's a new one! Anyway, the Maverick really appears to be simple on the outside at first, but they really don't get much range, even modded. And any mod to it other than air-restrictor removal, is pretty difficult. If you want a good range, easy mod, I would suggest buying a nite-finder. There are a lot of mods on it.

Also, I tried that mod you're trying, I didn't do much. But I might have screwed up.

Theres always the second O-ring mod. Not much beyond putting a second ring on the plunger. You can also use one of the AR springs on the front of the barrel assembly to force it against the tube outlet for a tighter seal.

Slug's new rotation mod is great too, but it doesnt do anything to range.

I went out and got a nitefinder :P

Mods done: PPK'd, e-taped the plunger, now it sounds like a cartoon and gets a rather astounding amount of range. I don't know what else I can do, I don't know if there are any springs at ace that I can use as a replacement, although shortydrummer21 says there are. if there aren't I'm gonna shoot him in the face with whatever spring I end up getting tomorrow.
