Nothing big, but i was wondering if anybody would give me some tips on how to mod a titan. i'm sorry if i didn't see anybody else's help on this but there is a annoying little orange ring on the beganning of the pump and end of the gun. It goes all the way around the Titan holding it together, I have all the screws out but the ring is still holding the gun together. Any tips on how to get the ring off without breaking the gun?

thanks

You should just dremel off the orange ring.

You have to cut it at the seam line. Either using a rotary tool or a hobby knife. There's no way to pry it off safely, just be careful when cutting it.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I just rammed a flat-head screw driver under it and pried the damn thing off in peices.
It doesn't look very pretty, but it gets the job done.

I hacksawed the ring off my titan - whatever works. It's not integral to the functioning of the gun.

I bought Kohls.com's last two AirTech 2000s.

seriously guys, the titan is a pretty nasty missle launcher stock.. My suitemates and I play every so often with a room down the hall from us (college dorm building) and its always used as our breaching weapon. In fact.. we've had to restict the number of pumps you're allowed to put into it (it takes about 7 to get the rocket off the post, and once you hit 16 or so it starts rejecting air) but when we had an incident where we hit one girl in the boob and it looked like her boyfriend beat her up. Now we essentially banned it from use because my room mate shot out our lights with it. The Hall Director wasnt very hapy with us when we told her that there was glass everywhere in our room and we needed maintenence to clean it up.

sorry, that was long winded. but stock it gets what looks to be 40+feet flat, maybe 60 angled? isnt it kinda overkill to have more than that? :P

No. 200 feet (which is close to what a modded Titan can get, I believe) might be overkill. 40 feet flat is pathetic in anything except maybe a sidearm or something specifically meant to be a close range weapon. And a Titan is too big for anything but a primary.

Of course, that's all outdoors. Indoors, 40 feet flat isn't too bad I suppose.

He was talking about shooting the stock Titan missile. Which won't go more than 50-60 feet if the pump in the Titan isn't plugged.
A Titan shooting micros any closer than 40 feet can be very painful and can easily leave welts.

That's true, he was only talking about the stock missile. But still, 40 feet isn't far at all except indoors.

But yeah, I have some idea of how powerful a micro-shooting Titan can be. I shot myself in the foot with a modded LBB once (wanted to see how bad it would hurt) and it was pretty sore for the next day or so.
