Umm, you can get PETG from One Man Clan. I haven't gotten any PETG(but I plan to soon) from him YET. But, everyone who did get some, said it was GREAT(as in REALLY great). As for the CPVC, Is just PVC piping, but a smaller scale of it, and it fits micro stefans quite tight. Next time, you should use the search button first so you won't get flamed by everyone saying" use the search button, thats why it's there".

You can't get PETG at a store. Your best bet is to order from me. Go to that thread for more info.

GOOGLE CPVC, you'll have your answers in 15 seconds.

We don't hold hands here. Shape up or ship out.

1.You won't find PETG at any hardware stores so you'll have to go to a pet store that specializes in aquariums to find it from a store. It's normally used in wash down applications.

2. I've seen two types of CPVC. One is an off-white color and has a smaller inner diameter and wall thickness than regular PVC. The other I've seen and is at the Lowe's and Home Depot near my house is a light gray or black color. It also has a smaller ID (inner diameter) but a thicker wall size to handle higher pressures. Both types fit .53" micro darts (the standard before CDTD's)

3. CPVC is not expensive (something like $4.00 for 5') and can be found in most Home Depots and Lowe's in the sprinkler section.

EDIT: Oops sorry OMC I wrote this before you posted.

The grey/ black stuff is actually Schedule 80 PVC. Many people refer to it as "thin wall". It's a lot looser than CPVC, but the head of a stock micro does not slide all the way in like it would in Sch. 40 PVC (white pvc).
Just thought I should clarify that.

Mcmaster-Carr lists CPVC as Schedule 80 PVC. Captainslug aslo refers to CPVC as Schedule 80 PVC. I believe most people refer to the off-white CPVC as thin wall because the black CPVC has thicker walls and is rated for higher pressures. And all of the micro darts that I've used (with the exception of those that came with the Titan Unity set) can fit inside 1/2" schedule 40 PVC. The only reason I had regular darts that didn't fit was because the foam became too soft and wasn't stiff enough to push the head of the dart all the way into the barrel. But other than that you should be able to fit stock darts inside 1/2" PVC (I have some in it right now).

Dude, no offence but I don't really give a rat's ass what other people call it. I go by what my hardware store says.
I have never seen anybody here call CPVC anything other than CPVC.
Black PVC (Sch. 80) is actually rated for less pressure than Sch. 40 PVC.
I know that you can fit micros in sch. 40 PVC. I was saying that the head of a regular micro dart does not fit in Sch. 80 (Black) PVC, whereas it does fit all the way in sch. 40 PVC.
Also, black PVC is not CPVC. It is called "Sch. 80 PVC."
I think you may have your PVC's and your CPVC's mixed up.

Also, could you show me a link to where Mcmaster calls it Sch 80? I never use them because I literally live 2 blocks from an ACE hardware.

CPVC is off-white yellowish stuff, tighter inner diameter for most micro sterfans. To see it look at any of NerfMonkeys mods. Sch80 PVC is black or dark grey, and is used as irrogation pipe. It usually comes in smaller sized nipples(threaded on both ends) but can also be found in large amounts. Sch 80 PVC has a loose fit on even the fattest stefans, and most micro's don't even make a seal. To see an example read CXWQ's EaB mod in the mods section.

Thk-Wall (Sch80) Light Gray CPVC Unthrd Pipe 1/2" Pipe Size, .840" OD, .526" ID, 5' Length

SCH40 has a different inner diameter (.602") than SCH80 (.526") but both have the same outer diameter (.84") since plastic pipe fittings only have to mate to the outside of the pipe.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Ok, wait, I think I'm a little confused.

Are there 2 types of sch. 80 (PVC and CPVC)?
CS's link said sch. 80 CPVC. Would this fit in, say, a 1/2'' PVC coupler? Or would it only fit in a 1/2" CPVC coupler?
I was refering to the sch. 80 PVC.

Oh I guess I was a little confused too. Apparently there's schedule 80 PVC, Schedule 40 CPVC (off-white stuff), and Schedule 80 CPVC (the dark gray stuff). And I think each one can only fit in it's own fittings (I'm not 100% sure though).

I've come across two types of Sch. 80 PVC listed as 1/2". One type is extremely loose on my foam and another's just right, somewhere between 17/32" and 9/16" brass in tightness on my darts. Both types cost the same and have threaded ends on them.

1/2" Sch. 40 PVC with brass nested inside:

Thanks to CX and radman for those images.
