I know that Pineapple has some cosmetic LSs on Modifying a Longshot but I want this forum to be like the mod/homemades sticky for just Longshots.

I don't have an especially pretty LS yet but that is kind of why I'm making this topic, to get some inspiration.

But I think this one looks really nice. Found it on eBay. Click on it to go to the auction.

This one doesn't look as good with the silver on it but I'm posting this one to ask who on these forums is selling this one, if anyone. I ask because it looks like he keeps bumping the price to get a higher payment. Cheater.
Posted Image

When I saw that first one, I thought it was Boltsniper's because of the paintjob until I saw that it had the front gun integrated and no pump-action foregrip, as well as other differences.

Now, if you have a pretty longshot, please post it and gloat if you deserve it.

And the guy who keeps bidding on the second LS is bidding on the first one also and is the guy who won Angel's replica LS.

Cmdrmack, is there a certain pattern on your LS or is the red spraint kind of random.

CS, is the number of LSs you have bought so high that you don't know it? If you do know, how many have you bought?

I like the color scheme in the first, the solid black of the second (as well as the custom front sight), and the cleanliness of the third.

I was planning on buying maybe ten and turning them into AngeLS to use for at home wars with friends. But I dont' have that kind of money yet. Just the guns is $300 and the materials will be costly because of the brass. And I don't know how much paint will cost but it will become expensive because I want a different paint job for each LS.

Maybe this summer I'll start buying an LS each month until I've got as many as I need. Make it easier on my pocket.

I'm on my fifth one, I think.

I did the foregrip all in red, some patches on the stock and just a light dusting over the rest of the gun, with the exception of a streak right where the magazines go.

Hey, come one, guys, I know you have them. Show them.

And can someone tell me how to use photoshop to see how a gun would look like with a paintjob? I think CS did it once.

Since Photoshop was mentioned, heres a digital repaint in the colors of the new generation of the N-Strike series that I had done a while ago just to see what it would look like. Sorry for the messy yellow, but turning a dark color into a light one isnt that easy.
Posted Image
I wont go into detail on how to do it in PS because I've never done it, but a digital paintjob involves selecting the areas that you want to change the color of and adjusting brightness, contrast, and the various color properties. I used the GIMP for this.

Yeah, I finally got my Ls working how I would like, and it even works. Mod work: Ar15 Action Spring added to stock spring, High Capacity Clip, Reinforced New Plunger head, made from a neoprene washer and two steel washers, And Cs's shotgun foregrip kit. not bad if I say so myself. Shoots stock darts around 65-70, I haven't gotten around to trying stefans because I don't have any foam that is not cut to the shorter length I make my darts, I'll be selling this eventually anyway.

Looks awsome. I really like the new paint scheme. It reminds me of something, I just don't know what. I will have pictures of my couplered LS soon, I just have to unpack my camera from moving.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

This was my first lonshot, I named it scar because I carved a big X on the other side. I will have more pictures soon.

I tried to make it look like the pulse rifle from the Alien series.

I am going to have a couple more LS pics coming because I just finished working on my second, and I am doing paintjobs on a couple of my friends'.

Nice paintjob Spectre, it also has a nice resemblance to the gun you were modeling it after. Good job.

Pretty sweet shadow. Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is the Nerf logo in the second pic backwards? I'm painting my LS now, I should have it up tonight.

The picture was flipped. The screw holes are on the left, not the right. Fake picture.

Both are flipped actually for whatever reason. Mirror shots?

Yeah, he probably took the picture in the mirror.

Wait it can't be in the mirror. The gun is opposite the logo...What the hell?

The chances of one person taking a bomb on a plane are one in a million. The chances of two people taking a bomb on a plane are one in a trillion. So if you're scared of a terrorist attack, bring a bomb on a plane.

Paintjob took longer than I expected, but it's finally done. Angel breech with CS shotgun foregrip and industrial spring added. I'll get some foam on the foregrip soon, it's a pain to cock now.

I just put some grease on my foregrip slide, and it made it about 5 times easier to cock. I recommend it to anyone with a shotgun foregrip, especially if you painted it.
