Okay. This is the time of year that Hasbro switches out their product line mix I have been trying in vain to get an NStrike Set, which none of the stores have in stock. In searching I've discovered that if you want to get a good deal now is the time to act.

At Wal-mart certain package sets and older model are being marked down a good deal, especially the Magstrike single package and double package.
I just got a double set of Magstrikes at Wal-mart for $35. They also had tech targets marked down.

Toys R Us only seems to have Longshots and RapidFire 20s in stock with only a few pistols. Older items were being marked down by atleast 15%, but none of them interested me.

What Target was marking down varied from store to store. They have better inventory control so most stores didn't have anything old to get rid of. They have always been the first place I would look for Nerf guns because they're usually anywhere from $1 to $5 cheaper on everything. Make sure to check their end-caps for items that are marked down.

Very nice. I assume we can not only expect lots of deals, but we can also expect there to soon be some new hasbro products out. Possibly new versions of our favourite guns. Regardless, thanks for the run down CaptainSlug.

I noticed the TTG mark-downs recently, and plan on getting another one. Longshots have also been marked down about $5 here in Toys 'R' Us. A lot of the ball guns have been put on sale at Wal-mart and Toys 'R' Us, too.

Just what we need: A fourth generation NF instead of a semi-automatic or something actually innovative.

Yeah I know what ya mean. But honestly, do you think Hasbro will give us something innovative when look at how many corners they cut with the longshot. I mean, it is so much be better modded (still ok stock), but I guess we wouldn't be able to mod it much if they made it kick-ass to start.

They didn't cut corners with the LS. Hasbro can't make a gun shoot 90' out of the box, they would get sued in a second.

Well, Tippmann can make a gun that will do that, and although it's paintball, there is no set limits for nerf. If hasbro wants to make a gun shoot 90' out of the box, then they just have to put an age limit on it. Like, in Canada you have to be 18 to purchase paintball stuff. Sorry for highjacking your thread CaptainSlug.

We are outside of Hasbro's target market for the Nerf line. Do not expect them to make any products that cater to us. The "flaws" they design into the guns to inhibit their performance are kind of a nod to what we are doing though, because they know that they're fairly easy to remove.
We are the reason why the "do not modify" liability clause is molded onto each gun. But we are not the reason the product line is successful.

Even if Hasbro made a nerf gun shoot 90' out of the box where would the fun of moddin go? If it already shoots 90' stock there is no need to mod it. Anyways, TTG's here have been marked way down low I think 10$ last time I checked about a week ago and ls and magstrikes have been marked down low.
