I bought this stuff at home depot a couple of weeks ago. It is 1/2" inner diameter. I don't know if it is petg. It came rolled up like fbr. It works great as a barrel but it is really hard to straighten it out but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Either throw it out.
Keep it for parts. For a project you may not know you need it for yet.
Cut it into 2" sections and use it as ammo holders in place of the battery compartment in the NF like I did to one of mine.
Return it and buy something that is more useful.

I cant think of any more nerf related uses for it.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I'd say thread it though something that is straight like 1/2 PVC or 3/4 CPVC, the PVC will provide the straightness and the tubing will provide the fit.

And you could do the exact opposite, fit it over something to protect it or increase the OD.

I'm not seeing a link, so from your description, I'm assuming you bought something along the lines of polypipe or polypex, which is like sorta flexible PVC. It has it's uses, but unless we can get a better idea of what it is like/is, it's hard to determine whether or not it is worth keeping.

I think I know what he bought. It is the same type of tubing that you will find inside any Nerf gun with an air tank configuration, only his has a larger ID. It's the clear tubing that connects the tank to the barrel. I was looking at the same stuff for a possible homemade gun for the internal piping, but decided against it.

Holy motha', that is some bitchin' huge vinyl tubing. I use like 1/4" for fuel line on small engines. I also assume that it being very pliable, that it would have a high coefficient of friction due to the low density of material, making it less effective than PVC or brass.

Correct. I used to have some and tried using it for barrels; the friciton was insane and it sucked.

Use it for airtank expansions.
