I had an empty nitefinder shell lying around, and figured that at2k internals would fit inside it. They did.

I used a paperclip to connect the trigger to the 2k tank. Ranges are in the 70-80 foot range. This gun weighs less than a stock or modded nitefinder. I plan to put the at2k turret onto the gun, once I get an o-ring to fit the turret.

Questions? Comments? Flames?

EDIT: Sorry about the bad pictures, all I had was a webcam to take them with.

EDIT2: The glue is dried and the tape is off. Also, I put a brass barrel on it.

Pictures are fine. Nice job. The ranges seem a bit low, but nice job nonetheless. Is it cpvc?

Also, isn't it awkward to pump? Perhaps put the pump out the back?

The ranges were guestimated at school, I don't know the real ranges yet. Yes, that is cpvc, my stefans fit in it better than brass. It's also just taking up space until I can get an o-ring for the 2k turret. It is actually easier to pump than in the at2k shell. It's more comfortable, I don't know why, but it is.

Try putting the pump out the bottom of the grip, like the Lightnin' Blitz. That would be super slick.

A few people have tried that, but I've never really been a fan.

Looking forward to true range test.

First of congrats on actually accomplishing this, it looks great. I thought this might be another bullshit idea with no work whatsoever but you definetly have said otherwise, it looks great.

I was going to put the pump out the bottom, but that would have made the gun take up more space than it had to. My purpose for this was to make the at2k smaller and more comfortable to hold, and to use up an old nf shell.

I just put a brass barrel onto the gun. It shoots my stefans with more force, so range ist longer.

I would like to say, creative, I've never seen that but I haven't been here long. Also, very clean. If I could get my hands on an AT2K, I would definetely(sp) do this.

I really should reevaluate my Nerf carreer. I have been ultimated multiple times in a war, shot by a girl with an arced NF, and EMBARASSED by a 6 year old in quidditch on xbox. What am I doing with my life?

Nice work, if I ever got a Air Tech 2000 I might attempt this. Its pretty awesome how you could work the AT2k out in a pistol form and it still perform, and look nicely.

Is that a shell from a new NF or is it painted?

Looks cool. I've thought about doing this for some time now, glad to see someone actually did it. Would it be possible to mount the pump farther forward so that it doesn't stick out the back of the gun? I'd think about replacing the tubing from the pump to the airtank so that you can pump it up quicker and it should take up less space. If you still thinking about putting the turret on you can use 17/32" brass, and just slide it over the air-hole nube in the back of the turret. Also you have a copper barrel, not brass.

Copper, Brass, same thing in my eyes. The pump is out the back of the gun because the tubing attached to it would have interfered with the trigger. The tubing is angled on the back of the pump, so to put it inside would mean putting it up before the trigger, and that would make the gun longer than it needed to be. I am still thinking of putting the turret on the gun, again, I need to go out and get an o-ring for the turret.

Copper and brass are very different. Brass comes in a wide variety of sizes, and has a very low friction, while Copper comes in 1 or 2 sizes that fit darts and has a higher friction than brass. Take a look at Falcon's Turret'd NF. He used 17/32" brass to attach the turret to the NF's plunger. If you do it that way you do not need an o-ring.
