The barrel replacement I decided on is kind of like Carrtoons, but using 9/16 brass as opposed to PETG. I Got it in, and secured it at the bottom the orange piece like Carrtoon did so that the bolt would still slide over it. Everything seemed to be going well until I reassembled it and it wouldn't fire. I found that the problem is that the darts don't get shoved into the barrel and instead get pushed back into the bolt.

If I remember correctly Carrtoon added a small piece of plastic tubing in the bolt to prevent what you're having an issue with.

I have an really annoying situation going on. Today I barrel modded my LS with a 12" piece of 19/32 brass. This seems to be about the right width as I had trouble with 9/16. It's tight enough to hold my darts, but loose enough for me to blow them through with a puff of breath...just not the gun apparently. It takes cycles of the bolt (cock, fire) in order to fire the majority of my bullets. I say majority because I have some slightly older darts that have had some wear and tear to them. This gives them slightly less girth, and allows them to enter the barrel enough to fire them. When a does decide to fire, it does fire quite well, so that's a relief at the very least.
Basically I would like to know what might be causing this. I feel that if my breath is sufficient enough force to make the dart exit, then the gun should be as well. One possible issue that could be addressed is that the darts may be catching on the edge of the brass. Whatever the case, the dart just ends up getting swallowed by the bolt. Oftentimes quite far, and requiring up to 5 bolt cycles. I'm not sure if there would be any way to ease the dart's entry or nor.
I suppose the other option would be to modify my darts so that they're all thinner, either by finding a new source of FBR, or stretching them somehow. But I am reluctant to do wither of these unless absolutely necessary
Thanks for any help!

Well, did you deburr the edges of the barrel?
You can't do a barrel replacement mod effectively if your darts are inconsistently sized.

The edges are deburred. And now I'm just confused. After some further examination and cleanup, it doesn't seem to matter what size dart anymore, both sizes mess up.
In the case of a misfire the dart within the barrel is loose enough to fall out. I even put in a second spring, and results are still random.
Should I downstep and try 9/16 again?

With mine i made it push the ammo into the barrel. it is almost a 100% seal. The cool thing about this it is easy and that by cocking it multaple times it has a kind of shotgun effect. A lot like Angel's gun. Thanks Angel
