Please arrive at 10:00 so we can begin promptly and maximize nerfing. Also bring money for food, we will have Pizza or sandwiches delivered so lunch doesn't take over an hour like it did last time.



Today is February first, and you know what that means, right?

Not only is this the 2 year anniversary of Canada allowing same-sex marriage, not only is this the 13 year anniversary of when Jeff Gillooly plead guilty for his role in attacking figure skater Nancy Kerrigan, no only is this the day 4 years after the Space Shuttle Columbia accident, today is the day we plan for the Spring DCNO of 2007.

An event that trumps all those others, so far as it will be a good thing rather than something highly negative.

I hope we can continue to use the gauntlet, however if turnout is too high it just may not work out. But we've never tried the gauntlet with tons of people, it'd probably work out well. Would anyone like to try a new place? There is another park we used to nerf at about a 30 minute drive from there, but I don't believe it was nearly was good as the gauntlet.

As of now, I am available all of those days and I expect David is as well. Veggie already said he should be able to make it. What works better for people, Saturdays or Sundays? Is there a day everyone is off of work?

Post which days are best for you or just say all of them.

I expect to see some new faces here, maybe Dan Wask would show up, The Hellforger seemed to show interest. Also, Wldwrld may attend (and he has glow in the dark and red foam!) Daeneron has also shown interest. YWNM (or whatever name he goes by now) also wanted to make it. Hell, maybe we'll be able to see some of Captain Slug's mods or Boltsniper's homemades.

So remember, spread the word and share the love.

School work always has the chance to screw with any dates I can make, so in no way make my preferences a priority.

The weekends of 3/4 and 10/11 I will be doing relief work in New Orleans.

The weekend of 17/18 I will be heavily intoxicated and most likely unable to move. 21st + St. Patrick's Day = Let's Hope I live to see the next weekend.

My best date is March 24th, but as I said that can always get screwed up by a professor or two.

Well, it generally seems that most people prefer Saturdays since they have work/school Mondays. I couldn't care less, so it's up to you guys. Find a date, as of this time all are fine for me, it something comes up, so be it.

As usual, I would like to come but doubt I will actually make it down there. Maybe this time though, who knows. It's a big maybe though.

I won't bother requesting a specific weekend since I doubt I'll be there, but like most everyone here I prefer Saturdays over Sundays.

I prefer Saturdays as well. It's just a pain in the ass to drive home on Sunday 4 hours and have to go to work the next day.

My preferences are the 10th or the 17th. I can't do anything the 31st/1st.

I think Diablo was referring to the content of his post, IE the Leroy Jenkins reference, not the fact that OMC actually posted.

If all goes according to plan I'll be bringing a fellow art student savvy in the ways of film and motion picture to make a pseudo-documentary / battle piece for us. Also, probably quite a few more guests this time around, I'd say around 3 guests, but as we get closer to the date I'll probably get a solid number so we can get an accurate headcount. The 17th is looking to be a better choice for me as well.

It's looking like the 17th will be the best date for the most people. Anyone from NJ is welcome to work out travel plans with me. I'm sure Dark Shrimp and Evil will be riding along. We can plan this out in the coming weeks. Let's make the 17th the definite date and get a head count.

I won't be able to attend if it is on the 17th. It is my girlfriend's father's birthday and I'm still in the process of kissing his ass. Any other day would be good for me, but if this is the confirmed date, then I will see you all at the next one.
