Okay, after seeing Angel's BBB, I had to it. So I have tried Goop and JB quick for connecting the CPVC to add to the origanal arm. So far, Goop takes to long to dry and comes apart fairly easily, and the JB just falls off. Advice anyone?

I really should reevaluate my Nerf carreer. I have been ultimated multiple times in a war, shot by a girl with an arced NF, and EMBARASSED by a 6 year old in quidditch on xbox. What am I doing with my life?

Why not use pvc that will fit over the arm and drill it on?

I don't think there's any room for that.
I'd try epoxying it on, then putting plumbers goop over that. It should hold then.

You can either:

A: Give the goop 48 hours to dry and be patient.

or

B: Pick up some Zap A Gap or Fishin' Glue, Apply that then wait a few minutes and you are good to go.

I use the fishin glue myself and it is the strongest glue I have ever come across. It makes epoxy and plumbers goop look like shitty glue you owuld use in grade school.

If I were to redo the ABBB I would use fishin glue instead of epoxy.

I am glad to here people are following my write ups. Good luck and when you finish send me a pic, I would love to see how it turned out.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Fishing glue? I don't think I've ever even heard of it. Would it be able to seal up a leak well? Or is it more like epoxy, where it's like cement when it dries? And how long does it take to dry?
Wow, and I thought plumbers goop was really strong...

I too will be doing your ABBB mod probably around this spring. By far the coolest BBB mod I've ever seen.
Actually, I've got some questions about that mod.
1. How did you cut all your brass? I'm guessing just a dremel with a cutting bit?
2. What about for that half piece of 17/32 brass?
3. Does it matter if you use a gel deoderant case or not?

Sorry for sorta hijacking this thread. I just had all these questions and didn't want to start a whole new thread to ask them.

This stuff is more along the lines of super glue. It dries incredibly fast. Sometimes it can take a maximum of 10-12 minutes other times it needs only seconds. I dont think it would be that great for leak but then again I have never tried it.

1. I did a dremel cutting bit and sanding bit to smooth the edges.
2. Same thing.
3. I dont think it matters. That is the deoderant case I liked best because it was the most square and it snaps into place.

If you guys liked my Big bad bow mod then you are going to love my next write up coming this week.

Thanks Forsaken Angel, I checked for the glue like 10 minutes ago, but it's 9:45. And yes, the Angel Longshot is finally born. Keep on with the write ups, I'm personally(sp) inspired to do each one.
