I'm in the process of designing a semi, or if I can make an air powered breech, fully automatic gun. I've decided to use C02. What I need to know is what kind of valve I need for the C02 tank.

Co2 comes in different shapes: big tank things paintball people use or small 12gr Co2 cartridges that most semiauto bb guns use. Co2 is kind of hard to use just so you know. Which typ are you planing on using?

I'm gonna use a small one for sure so that it fits inside the handle.

I don't have a terrible amount of experience with homeades, but CaptainSlug tried to make a clip-fed full auto gun (pumped), and it got really complex really quick. Also, I think I heard somewhere that CO2, becasue it's so cold, makes plastics (like PVC) brittle.
For maximum efficiency?
1. Pump up. Count how many pumps.
2. Keep going until you hear a loud "bang".
3. Subtract one pump from the total. Rebuild your air bladder.
There you go.

I'm going out on a limb, but maybe buy a decent paintball pistol and just shove a dart in the barrel. Maybe screw around with the barrel size and material.
They aren't weapons. Don't call them weapons. They're only weapons if you make them so.

Yeah, I thought about my idea a bit more, and decided that it was just plain stupid.
