Currently, I just have a BB spring in there (BBB was broken, perfect use), and that nets me 50-60ish feet. But I'm interested in squeezing as much out of it as I can. In putting in a second spring, I am worried about potential breakage due to stress.

I've seen the strengthened catch spring, but is that all? Is there any place I need to apply metal reinforcement ala X-bow?

Also, while I'm at it, how much does a barrel replacement help?

Well the answer to your first question is search I know there are at least one or two reinforcements for a LS. As an answer to your second question is Yes it does make a difference.

I can't turn up anything in search. I'm sure it's there, I just can't seem to find it. And as for the barrel, could you be more specific, as in, range increase?

And the only thing that needs strengthening/replacement is the trigger plate spring. The body shell is actually remarkably durable and well designed. You just have to make sure to put everything back together correctly.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
