There is a new N-strike tech target. It is not the scout, but it is not the original either. It fires micros and has a much beefier spring and larger plunger tube. The one shown in the last two pics is my slightly modded one. With the AR removed, using dart tag darts, and two smaller o-rings to keep the original in place, I am getting these ranges:

Shot 1: 47' 6"
Shot 2: 51' 7"
Shot 3: 49' 11"

And the accuracy is perfect at 45 feet, 10 out of 10 hits on the target that came with the gun.

Well, I've talked enough, here it is.

Pretty intimidating, eh? The gun gets much better ranges (above 70 feet) with stefans, as I put some brass in the back of the barrel to build pressure with stefans.

Think you can put that spring in a longshot or the 3rd gen nightfinder? (Yellow one)

They aren't weapons. Don't call them weapons. They're only weapons if you make them so.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but those have been out for quite some time. Actually a little before the holidays Wal*mart sold those in a two pack. You got two guns, and nine darts. I got one for Christmas, but i threw out the box.

Burst my bubble? Nah. I expected people to have already found it, but this is here for those who didn't.

Although, thanks for telling how long its been out.

I can't see, does this gun have the railing on the top that other N-Strike guns have?

Nope, no rail. It does have a sight, though, that would have great potential if the cocking handle was smaller. I am probably going to add a brass barrel and put a scope on it, mostly for looks.

What? I've never seen this.

Finally the TTG's are back! This thing is going to be awesome! Better than the NF. And I like the color scheme. Nice find Razer Sharp.

I bought one the other day and they are surprisingly (sp) good. I added another spring to it, a pbc barrel, and painted it. I get about atleast 60' out of it but I havent measured yet.

A scope on a pistol? That'll be slightly strange... And pointless...

I picked one up in probably late October. I still can't stop using my L'nLs but the TTG is a really great gun.

Those little ammo holders are obnoxious though: if you put a dart too far into a holder you have to dig it out with tweezers because the ring holds it in there.

The paintjob kind of bothers me too, just that dark green and the orange don't mix well.

Thanks for posting pictures so everyone will stop asking if you mean the Scout TTG when you mention the "new one."

Much to OMC's dismay, I hear a 2k turret whispering *Tech Target Pistol...*

Looks like some good stuff!

Hmm... falcon, how does a 3k turret sound? Hah, I bet it could be done. This pistol's spring is still not as strong as I think it can be without plunger head damage, so a spring replacement is in order. This gun is available at walmart, some TRU's, and target.

If your worried about the plunger head then put a washer on the front of it like I did after you replace the spring.

At TRU, they are more pricey ($17-$19) While at target and walmart, they are $13.99.
Not bad for a gun that gets 50' with a stock dart and slight mods...

Nope, it's not that strong, and it's way too small. It would work well with a SS1 maybe... I don't know. Definately not good enough for the longshot or nf.

Besides the Micro Dart barrel, are the internals the same as the original Tech Target?

Not sure, but I just got a perfect seal and added a handyman spring to mine and boy does it kick! It was so powerful that my barrel came off. I am regooping it as we speak!

It seems like the plunger is a bit longer than the original, but I might be wrong. The gun is a step up in power from the original for sure.

How good was the original Tech Target? That was the mega shooting one, right?
My friend's got one of these new ones. We removed the restrictor and put in a new spring. It's got quite a bit of power now. Though it's pretty big for a pistol. I was thinking about integrating a SSPB into one. Those ammo holders look like a perfect spot for a SSPB.

The origionals were not too shabby; if this new one is a step up in power it must be quite the kicker.

The originals were about on par with an unmodded LnL, once you removed air restriction.
