Like the title says i have a buzzsaw. I was at target today and on a clearance rack behind a firefly was 4 buzzsaws. It rung up 14.99. stock it is good for a ball gun maybe 35 feet. It is semiauto out of the box and holds 3 balls. I may be one of the first few members of the nic to have one.

Other than the obvious cosmetic changes, are there any differences from it and its predecessor, the Ripsaw?

Yes it only holds 3 balls stock but i sanded of the rim of the tube so that balls fall in and made an expansion tube so now it holds 7 balls. I have never seen a ripsaw in person but from the photos i think the buzzsaw is bigger. And it is not as loud as the ripsaw is said to be.

Is the trigger mechanism the same as the ripsaw? When you pull the trigger, you should see a small nub of plastic move forward to prevent more than one ball from dropping in. If this gun is just a ripsaw remake, you should be able to trim it off to make it full auto.

I'm looking forward to this gun, the ripsaw is one of my favorites of all time. The new ballistic balls they make (green) are too large to work in the ripsaw and I'm running out of the classic balls.

Eh, I was at Target a few days before this was reposted, (in Minnesota) and they had a ton of them, so your probably not the only one... anyways, good find.

I'm looking at buying one of these... perhaps. I'm trying to think of whether or not buying all those green balls is gonna be worth it
