OK, I have made like 80+ darts with this really durable, firm FBR. But when i put the darts in 17/32 brass, they just slide down. Why is this happening?

I really should reevaluate my Nerf carreer. I have been ultimated multiple times in a war, shot by a girl with an arced NF, and EMBARASSED by a 6 year old in quidditch on xbox. What am I doing with my life?

Exactly, obviously the O.D. of the foam is smaller than the I.D of the brass. So just buy smaller brass. Did you seriously not know what was going on?

This happened to me also and it was because I bought the wrong brass. Luckily it was just 3 ft. To fix it you can either buy new brass, or around the diameter at the tip of the dart you could put hot glue.

It could also be happening because you are overcooking your darts when straightening them.
when choosing fbr you should bring your brass with you to the shop and find the fbr that fits just right.

I don't get my kicks out of you,
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

I would not suggest that. You would more than likely have an uneven circle around your dart, resulting in a very bad barrel to dart seal. You could make them into Zero darts. The ones with foam around the head. Matchsticks might work too, but I'm not sure on that one.

Thanks guys, I do remember me taking a long time to straighten my foam. Also, ACE Hardware doesn't do too well when it comes to keeping the brass organized.

Well actually, if you got your FBR at ACE, they're FBR is very thin. I got some from their just to experiment, and for me, without any heating, the foam fits almost loosely into CPVC. You could try getting foam from home depot or some other hardware store.
