I just did the AR mod to my LS and am consistantly getting 50'. I have seen others ranges but they are a lot further than mine. Is this only because I have not added a spring? If so does the spring really help the ranges 40-50' more? Thanks in advance.

What kind of darts are you using to get 40-50' with a AR removal on the Longshot? Or are you giving angled ranges? I only got around 30' with that. And, yes, a spring will help alot.

For maximum efficiency?

1. Pump up. Count how many pumps.

2. Keep going until you hear a loud "bang".

3. Subtract one pump from the total. Rebuild your air bladder.

There you go.

Oh my I am terribly sorry I put a 5 I meant to put a 3 should probably start looking at what I type before I post it. I am just using the streamlines. Also what would be a good spring to use? I know one of those beast NF springs but what's a good gauge?

The spring helps out a ton. I have two Longshots and the one with a spring replacement gets 90' and the one without gets about 40". Despite the large size of the stock spring it doesn't generate much force due to the fact that it's a smaller gauge. Do you have a BBB? If so take out the spring and bring it to a hardware store and look for a spring with a similar size and thickness. That way you can still use your BBB.

I do not own a BBB nor do I live near anyone who owns one. I have no idea what a BBB spring gauge is so if anyone knows please let me know.

They aren't weapons. Don't call them weapons. They're only weapons if you make them so.

You need a spring with an inner diameter of 3/4" and an uncompressed length of 4 inches. A wire diameter of 1/16" works best.
If you can't find anything locally order one of these and cut off a 3 7/8" length from it.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
