[SPU-Nerf]

So I had a broken RF-20 around (one stupid o-ring) and my friend gave me a broken Mav that he wanted to fix, but the catch was broken clean off so I couldn't fix it. So over this break I combined them together and made this a Rapid fire maverick.



Here is what I did with the internals


Ranges:
Well I am at home and my darts are at school, so no ranges yet.
But I expect to get around stock Mav ranges (I did band the tank).
And if it doesn't get those ranges I am going to try and spring the tank.

Nice. But since you used that piston valve for air release it will be underpowered. I think it will last longer though so you will have some sort of.... "Uber Mav"

Yeah I know but you work with what you got.
The underpowerness of the RF-20 internals is why I am thinking of putting a cap on the tank and having a spring in between the cap and the end cap of the pressure tube.
I wouldn't call it an "uber-mav" but it is semi-automatic fire now. (pump and then pull the trigger as many times as it has air)

Just to mention great job with the gun it may not look so hot but it looks like it'll work well.

You dont need a spring. Find a plug that will fit and epoxy the hell out of it. A spring will only help push the rubber back into ints normal position length wise and put tension on the bladder. This is bad tension and will help the bladder become damaged. If you want more tension add some peices of bike inner tube around the bladder. Good luck with this. I look forward to seeing the final product.

Thats awsome very original. Does it fell like it puts out a desent amount of air?

Not much air but it is like a stock Mav.

So this gun doesn't work thanks to the slow release of air pressure from the RF.
Gun has been scrapped for spare parts.
