Where is the trigger? Is it still green? Also, what color are the clips? Overall, great paintjob Munson.

The trigger is gold, and the clips are black scratched.

That is the coolest! How long did it take you do that? Great job can't wait to see more paintjobs from you.

I second that motion! Very nice! It looks like the Mag of iron! You will snag a good profit off ebay.

If you paint the clips, the clips will jam and not flow as smoothly.

I really like the paintjob but I do not like the golden part where it is "wrinkled".

Not if you sand the paint down with fine grit sand paper.

That type of paint is called crackle.

Actually for the mag I will be putting a coat of protective enamel over it so it slides nicely. Thanks for the comments, and I will have pics of the clip and whole gun soon...

I agree with nerfer34 about the wrinkled portion, but the rest of the gun looks pretty damn nice. Great work, munson20.

That tends to happen when your primer doesn't agree with your plastic. Different parts of the guns have different reactions to paint. Like on a Maverick, anything yellow takes a good 3 coats before it will stick properly. It's something he'll get better at as he does more and more paintjobs.

I have also noticed that you will get the wrinkling if you spray acrylic base paint over laquer(sp?) based paint or vice versa.

Hi.
I have a suggestion. Those slots along the side look kinda like exhaust-ports or something. You could put mock pollution weathering along there, do you understand what I mean?

I use steel woll for finer scratches and light grit for edges.

If I may, I could give you a few tips that have helped my painted guns on ebay. Use Photobucket and host larger pictures, and put them into your own basic html form so that you can show larger photos. They bigger detail shots really help sell my guns. Other than that, for some reason $10 seems to be my sweet spot for starting bids, I never really have any issues getting it above that. Just my two cents.

This happens to metalic spraypaint alot. He either did it in the evening, outside, it was really cold, or he used too much. This has happened to some of my guns resulting in me not using metalic paint. It still looks sweet and I bet from five feet away you cant even tell.
