EX - cocking handle thing like on the NF
IX - cocking slide (for example, the Mav would be IX-6 if it wasn't a revolver.)
AS - Air system, simply because is uses air instead of a spring. It probably isn't Asaultsystem, since the Titan only has 1 shot. I'm guessing the RF20 would be AS-20 if it was N-strike (if not RF-20)
V - fires Rocket (already said) BBB would probably be AS-V.3
Rev - obvious
CS - obvious
Also a thought, the E and I in EX and IX could mean external and internal plunger, or something like that, since the scout has a reverse plunger and the NF has a regular plunger.
I wonder how a DTG/Magstrike would be designated...
Probably dead by now, or something.

Hmm...a logical thought. Perhaps the Letters are not Dart Storage, but rather, how the gun works or whats special about it.
As for the DTG/Magstrike.
In light of what you just said, if they made an N-Strike DTG, it'd probably be IX-10 or something. As for an N-Strike Magstrike, it'd probably be either an AS-(however many darts), or a new designation for the Mag, like MS-(however many darts).
I dont own a Magstrike, and dont know much about it as yall can tell.

Don't get your hopes up. I emailed them about longshot and magstrike retailers and they took like two weeks to respond, and responded saying those guns weren't going to be available until december. At the time, the magstrike was already on walmart online, and the longshot was at some comic shop.I have emailed hasbro the link to this conversation and I should be expecting an email from them tommorrow. When I recieve I will share with all of you.

I highly doubt that they would follow a link. They have probably been instructed not to because links can = viruses. And as for this whole thing in general, I dont think that they would care or know (its probably some joke or something between the different designers)

Anywho, my little creative genious to be added to this topic is that I think the 'I' in 'IX' stands for IN-LINE. The Scout's dart storage is, unlike nearly all other blasters (Save the Tech Target guns) in-line (vertically) with the gun. That would be unique enough to warrant a name for the gun (considering the gun isn't worth a name of its own anyway, considering its lackluster performance.)
So there's my two cents. Party on.

In the N-strike unity system when the hornet and the titan are connected both be fired at the same time, but the Scout cant be fired via the titan.
Yes it can, that's what the little button is for on the left side.

Amount of shots times 10? (BF has 5 shots, PC has ten)What about the other designations such as the Blastfire DX500 and the Powerclip DX1000?
