And y'know, we have all the snowplows so even if we did get snow, we still wouldn't have a day off.

Does posting in agreement somehow validate your standing in the community? Personally I think it just makes you look like a tool.

Of course, it was like 33, not 32, and judging by the amount of RAIN we got it would have been one hell of a snow day. Oh well, at least I got to go to k-mart, and get a Bigblast. DANG those things are amazing.

I love how Minnesota is the only state without snow.

I’ve never seen snow here in San Antonio.

It is kinda weird we're the only state without snow, I'm from Minnesota, I think the last time was had a snow day was over 3 years ago for my school. I last last we had a missed day of school was last year ago, when we had a big thunderstorm, and the school flooded.I love how Minnesota is the only state without snow.
And y'know, we have all the snowplows so even if we did get snow, we still wouldn't have a day off.

Dart Attack, you've never seen snow. That really stinks.

I remember this one time that it rained and all of it froze overnight. I was sitting in my bus waiting to get off, and I saw kids walk off the bus, and instantly slip and fall. It wasn't just one person, there were hundreds, completely hilarious.
Too bad the staff salted the whole front sidewalk of the school before the end of the day.
Still the funniest thing you'll ever see.
Aren't I evil.
Oh! 100th post!

This is true. December has arrived, and the most snow has been a few inches up north. And even then, when I made a trip home for Thanksgiving, it was almost all gone. Very disappointing winter so far...
As far as school cancellation, my high school was the only one that didn't close in a 50 mile radius a few years back. I got to school, and I heard about at least 4 car accidents on the way. Then we got over half the school to walk out.
But alas, the U of M won't cancel classes over snow. Too bad for me now.

I haven't been able to enjoy it much yesterday or today due to having a fever, throwing up, sore throat, ect.
And no, you can't get a cold from just running outside.

Last year we got a cold day! It was so cold the water pipes like froze and we had no school. If it snows like 3-5 inches around here, we always get a snow day.

They were wrong.
We have about 5 or 6" on the ground and there are still flurries. Last year we didn't have any snow days so this is a nice treat. Waking up and expecting to be getting in the shower, only to notice that it's 8:00, is a pleasant thing. I'm glad this snow came last night and we got a Friday off. Thank you shittily plowed sidestreets!

But really the snow is just a pain for me, I have to go outside everyday and do annoying chores....Getting firewood, feeding chickens, feeding the dog, and refilling cold frozen rabbit bottles...BAH BAH BAH!.....Thats one thing I hate about winter.
