This contest may have some flaws, as people can simply be a deuschbag over the internet. By Lying.

A war-like setting/invitational would be better...

I love how Minnesota is the only state without snow.

And y'know, we have all the snowplows so even if we did get snow, we still wouldn't have a day off.

No snow day for me... and Friday is the best day to have a snow day.

Of course, it was like 33, not 32, and judging by the amount of RAIN we got it would have been one hell of a snow day. Oh well, at least I got to go to k-mart, and get a Bigblast. DANG those things are amazing.

It is kinda weird we're the only state without snow, I'm from Minnesota, I think the last time was had a snow day was over 3 years ago for my school. I last last we had a missed day of school was last year ago, when we had a big thunderstorm, and the school flooded.

Dart Attack, you've never seen snow. That really stinks. :o

Got a lot of sleet, then some snow, that melted, then froze over, then more snow. Result: First snow day in like 5 years. Unfortunately, ice coated all the tree branches, knocking many down. The individual power and phone lines to my house got knocked out, then the transformer exploded. My parents decided to move us into a hotel until we can heat the house again, because it's getting pretty cold at night. Not my decision, but I'm not complaining. Free hot breakfast.

A little off topic, but it was really funny I couldn't resist.

I remember this one time that it rained and all of it froze overnight. I was sitting in my bus waiting to get off, and I saw kids walk off the bus, and instantly slip and fall. It wasn't just one person, there were hundreds, completely hilarious. :D
Too bad the staff salted the whole front sidewalk of the school before the end of the day. ;)
Still the funniest thing you'll ever see.
Aren't I evil.

Oh! 100th post!

This is true. December has arrived, and the most snow has been a few inches up north. And even then, when I made a trip home for Thanksgiving, it was almost all gone. Very disappointing winter so far...

As far as school cancellation, my high school was the only one that didn't close in a 50 mile radius a few years back. I got to school, and I heard about at least 4 car accidents on the way. Then we got over half the school to walk out.

But alas, the U of M won't cancel classes over snow. Too bad for me now.

I had Thursday and Friday off from school. I wasn't able to enjoy it as much because of swim team practice, but you should have seen all 30 of us run outside for 30-45 seconds on a break from swimming and make snow angels, get 1/4th around the track and turn around. Oh yeah I forgot to mention that all we had on were our skin-tight jammers. No shoes. No shirts. Then we ran inside and jumped inside tp warm our frozen feet.

I haven't been able to enjoy it much yesterday or today due to having a fever, throwing up, sore throat, ect.
And no, you can't get a cold from just running outside.

I live in Mass and we got like an inch.

Last year we got a cold day! It was so cold the water pipes like froze and we had no school. If it snows like 3-5 inches around here, we always get a snow day.

I live in Rhode Island and i am about 200 feet from the ocean so generally the climate is too regulated for snow.

But i remember there was one day five friends and i walked to one of their houses in a blizzard. i went a little snow blind.

It was awesome

We got a foot and a half. Overnight. ALL the schools are closed today by order of the BOE. The mayor of London (Ontario) is advising us to stay home. Not even the city buses are running today. Isn't Canada great?

We only got about 3" yesterday from a constant downfall of snow, and everyone thought that if it snowed all night last night into the early morning today it would be too little, too late. But all our teachers received their paychecks yesterday, just in case.

They were wrong.

We have about 5 or 6" on the ground and there are still flurries. Last year we didn't have any snow days so this is a nice treat. Waking up and expecting to be getting in the shower, only to notice that it's 8:00, is a pleasant thing. I'm glad this snow came last night and we got a Friday off. Thank you shittily plowed sidestreets!

I just heard from a friend that they have over 2 and a half feet of snow in other parts of the city. It's insane. I really need to find some people to go to the park with today and play 'kill the carrier'. That has got to be the best game to play in the snow EVER.

A week ago, I ran in the snow in my bare feet all the way to a nearby barn about 75 feet away....You guys should try it is rather exhilarating. :D

But really the snow is just a pain for me, I have to go outside everyday and do annoying chores....Getting firewood, feeding chickens, feeding the dog, and refilling cold frozen rabbit bottles...BAH BAH BAH!.....Thats one thing I hate about winter. -_-

Not to turn this into a pissing contest, but rolling on a snow-covered trampoline in a t-shirt and shorts when it's twenty degrees (as well as running about 100' there and 100' back with only sandals) is pretty fun.
