I have finally completed a entirely functional nerf cannon.
Here is the first gun and all the discussion about it. As you can see, it was to big and it leaked.
So I decided to try my best to solve those problems on the next gun I made and thankfully I did. Here is my first succesful nerf cannon:
Range with nerf dart: roughly 400ft
Range with potatoe: roughly 250-300ft
It takes about a three minutes to pump up with my little hand pump and maybe one minute to pump up with a compressor. I am only running it at 30 psi right now.
Enjoy!

When in doubt, make a huge nerf cannon of death.

Oh my god. That thing is fucking massive! Why don't you buy a bigger pump for it?

What are you using for a valve? Looks like either a piston valve or a burst disk...

I think I see a ball valve in there, and that small pipe coming off that looks like a second barrel is an extension on the handle for some more leverage.

Good job Flaming hilt, turns out it is a ballvalve with a piece of wood attatched to it for added leverage, just figured I would clear that up.
