After a couple months of searching I have finally found a kennel that pure-breeds Olde English Bulldogges. I was just curious as to see if anyone here has one of these types of dogs.

The dog is going to be around a lot of kids and I want to make sure it is not vicious or anything.

Here is where I am getting it from:Here

And here is the dog I am getting: Posted Image

I love dogs. I will be getting a Siberian Husky sometime soon. I used to have a dog but he ran away (something he'd never do--I think someone did something to him because his chain was broken) about two weeks before we moved and he if ain't dead now, then he must be real close because he was OLD AND SICK when we left three years ago.

Sorry about your dog, Commonly Hunted.

Substance Abuse:
An old friend of mine had one of those dogs, and he kept it around no matter who was around the house. The only thing he told me about the dog's behavior is that you have to raise them in a kind manner and start gradually working them into a social environment. I suppose that just bringing him or her home to a house full of strangers isn't the best way to start off if they haven't been in that kind of situation before.

I am fully training my dog myself. Basically I want my dog to be my best Bud but I also want him to respect and be friendly to other people.

Basically i want my dog to fall asleep on me and have him love me. So I will not be introducing him to other people (except from my mom) and He should be fine.

My family got a black female pug, and then after 2 years, we bred it with the neighbor male fawn (tan) pug. We took care of the 5 puppies. It was great waking up every morning to running 1 week pug pups. we sold 4, but kept 1. The mothers name is Olive, and it's baby is named, well... Baby. I may have pictures up later.

My family has always rescued pets, and I think that that is the best way to get a dog. We have had 4 dogs from shelters, and two are still alive. One is a corgi mix and the other we are not sure but she looks exactly like an

-Get ready, its a long name-

Entlebucher Sennenhund. That is a really rare breed, but we have no papers to prove it. She is about a year old.

Those are some 'pure' Entlebucher Sennenhunds

Good luck with your dog,

RAMBO, thanks. How much was his husky and how old is it? Is the price different between female (bitch, haha) and male husky?

Veg, I like those Entlebooger Sennenhouse dogs, too. But what I really like besides Huskies is rottwieler(sp?). I like those because they are just simply beautiful, streamlined, muscular dogs. And they love to protect you. They sometimes treat you like there own pups or even better. Those guys would die for you more than once if it could.

I like bulldogs, also. Or pitbulls or whatever they're called--I like the one that looks like it's on steroids, you can see one on the MUG Root Beer bottles and cans. And then pugs (maybe I like these more than bulls). But mainly Huskies and Rotts.

Edit: Lancaster, that corgi looks like my old dog, Penelope--a girl's name but it was a male. Only he was shaggier and his ears short and limp most of the time. And those Schnazas are always excessively horny. Every time I'm around one, I have to hold it away from my legs.

The husky was as young as you can take it away from the mother. I think it's 6 months, but I'm not positive. It is not a year old though, I am sure of that. It cost 600 from a breeder(She also bred tigers and Chawowwows(I know the spelling is wrong, lol)). I am not sure on the gender price difference, sorry, I didn't go with him to get it, and I don't think the lady had any females anyway.

It was sad becuase he had two brothers and he kept looking in the glass on the entertainment system, seeing his reflection, and then he would start crying. :P. My brother wanted to get two, but he couldn't leave one there by itself.

That's sad. If only that lady had at least four dogs. If she did, you wouldn't have made the dogs as sad as they are.

(She also bred tigers and Chawowwows(I know the spelling is wrong, lol)).

Haha, that is the worst spelling of the Chihuahua I've ever seen. But that's cool that she has those and tigers.

If I could've, I would've got one tiger (cub, of course), one Husky, and one Chihuahua. I want to train a tiger to bite off the head of every political figure head within its lifespan. And then I'd get a new one.

World's most unique solution to the world's biggest annoyance.

RAMBO:
My next-door neighbor had a dog that looked a lot like a husky, but he was a German Sheperd. He was a big-ass dog, though. He was about a yard high, but that could be exaggerated because the last time I saw him was a couple months ago, and I was shorter then.

P.S.: RAMBO - I came from Allentown. Is it still a cool place? I haven't gone back since I was born.

Are you less than three feet tall? If not, then the dog is taller than a yard...

Okay. Just to say, I'm back. But the reason I am posting here;

You don't want the dog to be around your mom much because they tend to ignore you and gravitate towards any woman that will pay attention to them. Then, if your mom is there, it will always want to be around her, constantly beg to go outside (usually by bumping her arm, if she is reading or at the computer)

You can trust me on this, my 2 year old black labrador/rottweiler mix is really a pain when he gets to begging, because he weighs like 140 pounds and is like the size of a half grown grizzly bear...

Yeah, just some advice so he can be your best buddy, and everyone elses.

One more thing. Remember to let him walk on his own a lot. It is okay to hold him/let others hold him (Or her), but you want him to spend the first months of his life at your house on the floor. If people are holding the dog constantly for the first 3 months, it will have trouble walking around when it is older and be obese.

Whew, that's all.

SHA, I'm glad you like my idea. And a couple weeks ago, I saw the biggest dog ever. It was huge. We were waiting at a stoplight and a pick-up truck went by with a dog in the bed of it. The whole bed was a cage and the dog covered about 75% of that cage. It looked like a very hairy horse.

If you've seen Sandlot, then you know what size of a dog I'm talking about.

I own a bulldog. :D It is my favorite kind of dog , but they are realy hard to train because they are so stubborn. You can't keep them outside very long at all because they have flat faces and will get heat strokes.(that is how the mother of mine died) They snore realy loud. He does seem to be attached more to my mom , and is very jealous of me. He is probably the smartest dog I've ever been around. They are really fun dogs , and I would definately get one.
