[Ultima-Weapon]

I recently opened up my magstrike, as it had a leak. It would only fire 1 dart after 32 pumps or so. So i opened it up, and now I have founbd the leak, attempted to epoxy it, but now all the air just comes out at once. I maye have some pictures at some point...PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Oh and, the epoxy broke when I put the gun back together...if that is relevant at all!

Try plumbers goop.

I just asked my dad about it, and he said he was gunna try and get some crazy glue, and that plubers goop wouldnt work because it doesnt harden. I need something that will stick part of it to another part...Ill see if I can find my webcam so I can take some pictures.



*EDIT* Hey, im planning on getting a job soon, and I was wondering, what kind of Nerf gun should I save up for? I have been planning on getting another one, but not sure wich one. Please reply. I would prefer one that is just about guaranteed to work fine right off the start. I am thinking about a longshot, but i am not too sure. Oh, and is the Unity Power Unit worth all the moneys that it goes for? Or should I just say screw it?

I've heard that problem alot with magstrike.

I think people overpump it. Thats the problem with air pressure weapons.

Try hot glue, I'm pretty sure that there are two threads like this running.

A longshot is a good gun to get. If you wanted the N-strike system, I think indiviual titan at Target would be a better deal. That's my opinion.

I cant return the gun though. I have already opened up the gun, voided the warrenty, and threw out the box and reciept. Damn me for being so optimistic. Meh, I can still fix it...hopefully.

I'm wondering if you're mistaking Plumber's Putty for Plumber's Goop. I may be wrong, but Plumber's Goop is flexible, but pretty hard, and is what most of us use for fixing leaks.



That's Plumber's Goop. Is that what you guys tried using? I've used Plumber's Goop on my air-powered Nerf blasters, which is what I generally use, most of the time. I've even used it to attach air tubing to pumps and tanks, as well as patching all those leaks.

It ought to do the job. We need to see a picture of where it's leaking.
