I have been searching through the boards for a while, and this nerf gun called a "Stefan" and its legendary...ness keeps coming. I was wondering, What the hell is a stefan? I picture of one would be nice, but an explanation would be ok too!

A stefan is a homemade dart made of FBR and stretched straight. It is then boered into with a hot glue gun and filled with a weight of your choice (newer people should use 4.5 or 6mm b.bs). It is then glued over with a dome of hot glue. But to use them in nerf guns you need to take out the air restrictors and posts for stock micro darts. Or you can always take tagger darts and rip the head off carefully. You then fill it up 1/4 of the way with hotglue. You drop said b.bs in as said above and dome over with hotglue. Those are stefans and modded tagger stefans.

There are many different ways. As a standard you use Foam Backer Rod found at most stores like Home Depot, Lowes, etc. You cut it to 1.5" or 2" lengths and melt a hole in the top with a hot glue gun. You the put a BB, Fishing weight, or slingshot weight in it and hot glue the top shut. That's it in a nutshell. Search some more and you'll find variations and instructions with pictures.

Watch the noobish posts. Search before asking questions about common words like Stefan, At2k, etc.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

A BBB is a powerful spring powered Primary rifle. The spring inside does not take a particular name other than "the spring that is in the Big Bad Bow". Don't worry about a couple "dumb" questions, just search before you ask questions.

BBB is just one of many acronyms/abbreviated names of Nerf guns. There's a fairly complete list on this Abbreviations page. Look a the fifth post down for most stuff. That should get you covered on the most confusing parts of the language here.

Otherwise, welcome to the Haven, it's good to see a fresh face (as it were) that can still use proper spelling and grammer.

I hate to link to the HQ, but I believe they have a better acronym list here.
