Also, is the range exactly 30 like the maverick's?

Yes Nf has better stats but I personally like how the Scout feels and the slide back cocking mech is pretty cool. I modded it and got its ranges up to about 50' and that is (I think) more than enough range for a sidearm.
I am not sure how much scouts are sold for online because I have never seen one forsale alone. But I would quess between $5 and $15.
Got Nerd?

If you want a cool pistol get a NF or a Tek 6. A Tek 6 modded can get 60-70 feet. . . And it only costs about 4$ you can't beat that.

My friend said that the scout is the worst nerf gun he ever bought. . .

I am yet to hear about a Tek 6 that can get 60+ feet. From a modification.
I thought a well modded Tek 6 tops out at 50 feet if that.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Then it might be a decent side arm but nothing like a NF or AT2K.

Well i thought it could with PVC. . .Eyeballing it of course.
Still even if 50 feet is max, that pretty good for a six shooter that costs 4$.

Aye. Get an NF. I took out the Air Restictors, and put down rubber bands. It's pretty solid.
Yeah and Modding the NF is so easy.
The Nitefinder is prolly nerf's best gun ever. Its cheap, its sleek and Easy to Mod.

However, it is a solid pistol, bringing us back on topic. The Hornet is OK in my honest opinion. Probably the best stock gun in the original N-Strike, consindering that single-barrel Titans are so often outlawed. The Scout is rather meh.
The Scout was only good for me because of the fact that I was able to get some early modding experience with it.
