Are there any modification for these two guns? I saw them both the other day at Kinney Drugs. They were $15 (Big Salvo) and $8 (Sonic Bazooka) each. The Sonic Bazooka looked like a small version of the Big Blast, which is one of my favorite guns because of its incredible range! Please post a link if a mod of either of these lights exist, or write one up if you've modded on of these yourself.

Thanks

It's not hard. Put on new barrels and fire darts.

You obviously know what a mod is, so why don't you just do it? Try something out for yourself, it will be much more satisfying than following a writeup.

Well.... thanks for the reply I guess. My real question is can the air release valve be plugged, or is everyone just leaving it the way it is?

I've never seen anyone plug the valve on a Salvo but the procedure should be just the same except you'll have to cut off a bit of the pump tube to get to the actual pump and then just follow the regular steps.

Same for the Bazooka but I'm not sure if it has a cap on the pump tube so you may just be able to open it up and plug it normally. You don't really need to plug the valves though because those guns can get great range anyway. But if you want to it would probably be worth it. Just be careful opening the pump tubes.

Nope, it's physically impossible to mod them. There's just no possible way.

As Nerfmonkey said, replace the barrels, replace the pump, make it a "bullpup", etc. Just do something.

Okay, so I've never had any of these guns, but here is what I heard:
1) Sonic Bazooka:
I think it's basically a small lbb. sf3g pat lieutenant whatever made a writeup for this if you need it.
2) Lanard Big Salvo:
Many mods are done with this. I don't think there is a need to plug the pump because it get's around 70 ft. with micros without it. Search this site in the mods directory for a write-up.

As NerfMonkey said though, it is much funner to invent your one mod and is more satisfactory.

Ok. I'll pick up the Sonic Bazooka tomorrow and try it out. I'm suprised no one has posted one online yet, or talked about it at all. It has a really nice look to it and a great size (mini Big Blast). I'll post back tomorrow with my results.

My sonic bazooka gets about 90ft. The pump is plugged and has a cpvc barrel. My big salvo currently has Rose Art barrels (I am about to brass mod it) it gets about 75-85 . It destroys dart tag darts. These ranges are just guessing. I havn't measured.

My lanrd big salvo is my current favorite gun. It has 1/2" PVC couplers on each barrel, with removable 12" CPVC barrels. The $20 price tag is a little steep for me, but I will say the ranges on 20 pumps without pluggin the pump are greater than those of my SM1500. I do not want to mention exact ranges because I do not want to be flamed for dishonesty.

Thanks predator and bigbob.

Predator,

How did you plug the release valve? Can you explain quickly?

Bigbob,

Did you plug the release valve on your Big Salvo, or did you leave it stock?

Ran outta words...

There's quite a few write ups.
1-3 are Big Salvo mods.
Number 4 is Sonic Bazooka.
Enjoy.

POP! is a weird link.

For all your modification needs.

We dont have any mods yet for the Sonic bazooka but it is identical to the lanard blast bazooka.
You could be the first to post a modification on the sonic bazooka.

I kind of picked up the thought that you hadn't bought one yet, and were deciding....

I have neither Big Salvo nor Sonic Bazooka, but I agree with your pending purchase. I've heard too many times of members' Big Salvos going bad after doing pump mods to them. More people seem to be satisfied with their Lanard Blast Bazookas/ BuzzBee Big Blasts/ (smaller but similar) Sonic Bazookas.

Go get it!
